Is it too much to ask that before the Democratic Party sells America out to the European Socialist movement, they at least enlighten the average American citizen as to their actions?
What are we talking about?
Over the past few years, the highest ranking officials from the Democrat party have been working strategically to advance something called a “Global New Deal” based on Progressive-Democratic-Socialism.
The chief organizing entity for launching this new progressive socialist utopia is a group called the PES, or Party of European Socialists. Their organization is made up of the most powerful socialist blocs in Europe, including Socialists International, the parent organization to its American counterpart, the DSA, or Democratic Socialists of America. For those unfamiliar with the DSA, they are the political arm of the American Progressive Movement.
How do we know that top Democrats are coordinating their efforts with the PES? Well they aren’t exactly hiding the fact.
Strap yourselves in folks. We are going to lay this out with as much detail as possible, in the form of pictures, transcripts and video, so that you understand what is happening.

Remarks by Governor Howard Dean Keynote Address At The 7th Party of European Socialists (PES) Congress Porto, Portugal December 8, 2006
Thank you for that kind introduction. Thank you so much to everyone at PES for inviting me here today. It’s an honor to be here.
And thank you to our hosts… Portugal and this wonderful city of Porto. Being here, I’m reminded of Prince Henry the Navigator who was born in this city. As his name suggests, he was a great explorer.
He encouraged and came up with innovative solutions like ships that could sail against the wind and making cartography a cumulative science.
He brought people together at his school dedicated to navigators, mapmakers, and sailors. He paid for the voyages of others… and by doing so he helped usher in the great age of European exploration.
In some ways, Henry the Navigator’s legacy can be ours, too. Progressive parties are the parties of innovative solutions. And we are the ones who bring people together. Someone once said to me, Progressives are the party of “we” vs. Conservatives who are the party of “me”.
PES is an organization that was literally created to bring people together, to work together to solve problems and proudly stand up and fight for what you believe in. I appreciate that deeply. I appreciate that because as simple as it sounds in principle, it is not always a given in practice. I hope and believe that our success in the recent midterm elections proved that the Democratic Party in the United States has learned that lesson.
After too many years of farright Republican rule, we stood up for what we believe in. We went to voters in all parts of the country even the most conservative parts… We showed them the respect they deserve by asking for their votes… We realized that power does not come from the top and work its way down… We understood and appreciated that it grows from the grassroots up.
We came together, united as a party… And we won. Now that we have earned people’s votes, we know that we have to deliver on our promises. We have to continue to work together and through what we call a 50state strategy of which I’ll say more about later reach out to everyone. Democrats have a majority in the House of Representatives and the Senate. We have a majority of the state houses legislative bodies and state governors. And that means once again, we do have a say. And one thing Democrats say loudly and clearly is this:
It is time for the United States to renew our relationships around the world. It is time we treat our allies with respect and honesty.
The Democratic Party believes that America should return to consensus building, multilateral relationships based on mutual respect.
That`s the kind of governance that served us so well during the Clinton Administration.
The kind of dialogue described so forcefully and so persuasively in the initiative put forward by Prime Minister Antonio Guterres and Prime Minister Poul Rasmussen.
Just this week, a key recommendation of the Iraq Study Group in the U.S. calls for among other things a multilateral approach in Iraq . The findings also mirror what the American people said loud and clear in our elections last month it is time for an immediate change in U.S. policy in Iraq . The report also moved towards the Democratic Party’s position which is to begin a phased withdrawal of troops as soon as possible.
Under the leadership of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, we will continue to work to ensure the U.S. changes its course in Iraq.
Democrats also want to renew our relationships around the world and continue to fight for human and civil rights.
This means supporting our shared belief that to be good citizens of the world community… we must to be good stewards of the environment.
We believe that American policy should no longer deny that global warming exists… The E. U. has led the way in understanding how dangerous global warming is and America should be your partner.
As progressives we share values on both sides of the Atlantic…
Values like creating good jobs with decent wages… Values like providing quality education and health care… And we believe that a life of hard work should lead to a retirement with dignity.
On trade, we believe that globalization must not be a race to the bottom, it must become a race to the top. And while Democrats will not be protectionist on trade issues… We also believe that enforceable labor standards with our trading partners in the developing world are essential to preserving both globalization and democracy.
There are other essential values we share that we must fight for, not just talk about.
As many of you know, I have consistently opposed the U.S. led war in Iraq. However, we must not let the differences on Iraq policy between governments derail our shared longterm goals. It is critical that we stand together and support emerging democracies. And we must vigorously stand up to the forces that threaten those emerging democracies. Futhermore, despite the many near term difficulties in engaging the Muslim world, progressive democracies must take a long term view.
No matter how long the timetable must be, we must not fail in our attempt to build a permanent bridge to nations in the Muslim world which strive toward democratic reform. And as we strive toward democratic reform, our politics must match our policies. It is not enough to say that you believe in being inclusive and support policies that say so, if you then ignore people in the political process.
To be blunt, that’s what happened to Democrats in my country. Some thought the path to electoral success was imitating the Republicans, and focusing only on parts of our country where people thought we had the best chance of winning.
And the result was that we only really focused our campaigns on a handful of states.
My party took a major step in this election towards our goal of being a national party again. We won in places that some thought we couldn’t. And we earned the votes of people who not have voted for a Democrat in a very long time. We even earned some votes from people who hadn’t even seen a Democrat in quite some time. But most of all, we showed up in every state in the country and reached out to all of our citizens, regardless of party or religious affiliation. We did it by being inclusive. In essence, that’s what the rebuilding the Democratic Party was all about. And I think there is a lesson for progressives everywhere.
Because power resides with the people; it’s just loaned to us. As I said it does not work its way from the top down. It grows from the grassroots up. And yes, it grows everywhere not just in the areas that have traditionally supported you. Whether it is one of your parties or the Democratic Party, we should never cede a single region, never cede a single state or city. Nor should we ever cede a single voter. Not a single one. Because it is a mark of respect for the voters that we ask each one for their vote… regardless of the likelihood of getting it.
This is what we call the 50state strategy. It says we as a Party should communicate with our supporters and with all of our citizens… in the traditional ways… but also in new ways.
By using the power and potential of technology as part of an aggressive outreach to meet and include voters and to get our message out… Technology is an important tool that can be used to engage and involve ordinary people in the political process, but only if we have a strong message…
Because the Internet is not just a tool, its a community that we ought to reach out to and listen to what they have to say… Whether we’re talking about the United States or the European Union – it’s pretty simple.
It’s just this: Show up everywhere. Knock on doors everywhere. Make the calls everywhere. Shake hands everywhere… Do the hard work everywhere. And keep doing it… because that’s what running a permanent campaign requires. And make no mistake, we all have to run permanent campaigns. If we bring people together and talk with them about our values and the beliefs we share… Then we can win at any level, anywhere. I said at the beginning of my remarks that progressive parties are the parties of innovative solutions. Solving problems. Moving forward.
And we, the progressive parties of the United States and Europe, can usher in a great age and a new direction… An age of respect and honesty.
An age of partnership and consensus building. An age of inclusiveness… in our policies and our politics. And ultimately, an age in which we all explore and discover the full potential of our parties… but more importantly… discover the full potential of our people.

In 2007, the Party of European Socialists sent a delegation to America, to meet with their DSA counterparts. Don’t forget, the DSA is the daughter organization of one of the founding partners of the Party of European Socialists, the Socialist International.

In April of 2009, the Party of European Socialist held their 3rd “Global Progressive Forum”.
Guess who gave the opening night keynote. None other than President Bill Clinton!
President Clinton makes his remarks in the front of the video. At approximately 3:15 in the video Howard Dean makes an appearance. Towards the end (4:45), the president of the PES talks about the “Global New Deal”.
So there you have it. Overwhelming circumstantial evidence that our Democratic party and leadership have been planning a global new deal and a sharp left turn toward Socialism, with help and coordination from foreign powers.
All that will be left for Democrats to do is one day share their intentions with the people who vote in US elections.

Thanks for finding and sharing that, Sleuth. It’s no surprise that these guys get bear hugs in Europe. They all have the same goal: To diminish the influence, power, freedom of the United States of America. Of course the Europeans love Dean. They’ve never gotten over how we had to save their collective butts and how they lost their empires. They want to bring us down to the same malaise they all now “enjoy.” Case in point: Did you hear they’re rioting again in France because (gasp!) the govt. wants to raise the retirement age from 60 to 62. Imagine what France could accomplish if their people worked like Americans would love to, if only OBAMA would create those JOBS! Howard Dean made a mistake in his speech, though. He said, “This is what we call the 50-state strategy.” Didn’t he mean 57-state strategy?

Kind of makes me think of our housing situation now and those toxic morgagages we have here…FREDDIE, FANNIE and all that.
What a depressing lot, emboying stale ideas for losers. I really believe deep down that the Sixties generation (of which I am certainly one) must finally pass from the scene and release the world from the terrible bondage of its adherence to socialism and “group think” as evidenced in such things as political activism by public sector unions, block voting by selected minorities and redistributionist taxation which are all quickly leading the West to ruin. Howard Dean said that socialists/Democrats are the inclusive party of “we,” as opposed to the conservative “me.” Well, Howard, the “We” this blog refers to is “We the People” and our Consitution was written to protect the rights of the INDIVIDUAL from the Big We of governments, near and far, that seek to eliminate these rights in the name of the greater good.
Poor Vermont. The tiny but feisty state is now smothered by such know-it-alls as Howard and Bernie Sanders. One of my ancestors gave his farm to the patriots (the Green Mountain Boys) fighting the British and they built a sturdy stockade fence on the site and called it Fort Vengeance. What’s left of it is now a state park. Howard and Bernie would doubtless have turned tail and gone over to the British side had they been alive then, after ratting out everyone in town who had a gun.

I heard that Obama is trying to reenergize young people who naively put him into office. The lamestream media, always willing to help “progressives” and turncoat RINOs like Megan McCain, are out there helping them to lie about how the Tea Party movement scares young people away from the Republican Party. (As if Megan speaks for all younger people. As if she’s representative of the typical young person, having been born with that proverbial silver spoon. But I digress.)

If they do find jobs, any jobs, in this economy they won’t be paid enough to be able to afford to live on their own, much less to afford the amenities, the little luxuries to which they became accustomed while growing up in their parents’ homes.
Forever dependent. That’s what progressives like. If not dependent upon Mom and Dad, then dependent upon the government.
Not to worry! As with Obama’s last-minute announcement that after the election he’ll ask Congress to give seniors yet another $250 bribe for votes (I mean, COLA payment), the “progressives” will probably propose letting parents claim 30-year-olds as dependents on their tax returns and forcing those evil insurance companies to let parents keep those 30-year-old “children” on their health insurance plans.

Loretta Sanchez and her sister, Linda Sanchez, both US Congressmen from California, are SOCIALISTS. They are BOTH members of the DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS OF AMERICA.
I don’t see Loretta, but it’s not important. The people who put the list together must have gotten the sisters mixed up.

I saw Nancy Pelosi talking about how unfair it is that the wealthy just keep getting wealthier and that more people are falling out of the middle class (thanks to her policies).
She also talked a lot about fairness, in particular OWNERSHIP fairness. So what she wants and what Obama wants, like true Marxists, is to TAKE wealth from those they decide have too much and GIVE it to those they favor, who they think have too little. No matter whether these people earned it or deserve it or not.
What I want to see, ASAP, is redistribution of NANCY PELOSI’S wealth. Of BARACK OBAMA’S wealth.

Well Oklahoman’s just voted that we will not follow or allow our courts to follow any international law or sharia law. Obama makes me sick. I just can’t understand how people can support him.
