Hey, you know who is “not qualified to be President”?

CNN claims that according to their poll, 7 in 10 say Sarah Palin is not qualified to be President.

According to Article II Section 1 of the United States Constitution, here are the qualifications to be President:

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

Now, of course I understand the difference between “eligible” and “qualified”, but someone who is not “eligible” is certainly not “qualified”!

Hey, you know who is “not qualified to be President”?

The man known as Barack Hussein Obama II (also known as Barry Soetoro)!

  1. RP, I hope its okay for me to start this thread with a little comic relief —

  2. I don’t understand why this video didn’t show up –

  3. Perhaps I should have put the vids in the “open thread”?

  4. Unbelievable….. I guess they know that a bunch of uneducated supporters or just mesmerized supporters would not know the difference between unqualified and ineligible………. They are certainly masters of play on words.

All the ineligibility talk must be seeping up to the foregound making some rather nervous…. You think?

  5. cnn is now in last place among cable news orgs

  6. Politico shows the letter sent to Obots to go after Sarah on Facebook for all her “lies” about healthcare “reform.” The Dems are so on the defensive! They are going after a private citizen…who seems to have lots of power because her messages are getting through, and they help spread her messages. People trust her, period. .

    DNC attacks Palin ‘lies’

The Democratic National Committee, keeping up its drumbeat of harsh new-media campaigns against GOP leaders, is rallying Democrats to attack Sarah Palin where she communicates — on Facebook.

In an email to its list and a web page, the committee is pushing supporters to go after Palin on the social media site for alleged “lies” that range from her claim that disabled people will have to stand before “death panels” — widely viewed as outlandish — to the more arguable claim (the DNC calls it a “myth”) that a public option “will crowd out private insurers.”

“A lot of folks use Facebook to stay in touch with friends and family. For Sarah Palin, it’s a great way to spread lies about health insurance reform.” [Yuppers, those death panels were such a lie that the Senate removed the illusion from their proposed bill!]

“The more we push back with the TRUTH, the more Sarah Palin and others like her will have to think twice before they promote lies, and the less they’ll be able to derail progress”!!!
[Are we all thinking twice???…ooooeee the threats! Count me in on the derailing of the progressive train!]

Indiana Appeals Court Upholds Axing of Obama Suit – snips

The Indiana Court of Appeals today affirmed a Marion County judge’s dismissal of a lawsuit by two Hoosiers challenging President Barack Obama’s eligibility to hold office.

They argued that Obama was not eligible for the presidency because his father was not a U.S. citizen. Some critics have even alleged that Obama was not born in Hawaii or any U.S. territory.

A three-judge Court of Appeals panel ruled in today’s 19-page decision that the plaintiffs failed to state a claim upon which relief could be granted.

But the decision, authored by Judge Elaine B. Brown, also weighed in on the debate over the citizenship status requirement: “We conclude that persons born within the borders of the United States are ‘natural born Citizens’ for (constitutional) purposes, regardless of the citizenship of their parents.”

      • judge brown needs to go back to LAW school for a course in constitutional law.
our “legal” system is so corrupt — its depressing.

  7. Received in an email:

John was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens), called ‘pullets,’ and ten roosters to fertilize the eggs. [A pullet is a female layer hen that is just beginning to lay eggs]

He kept records, and any rooster not performing went into the soup pot and was replaced. This took a lot of time, so he bought some tiny bells and attached them to his roosters. Each bell had a different tone, so he could tell from a distance, which rooster was performing.

Now, he could sit on the porch and fill out an efficiency report by just listening to the bells.

John’s favorite rooster, old Butch, was a very fine specimen, but this morning he noticed old Butch’s bell hadn’t rung at all!

When he went to investigate, he saw the other roosters were busy chasing pullets, bells-a-ringing, but the pullets, hearing the roosters coming, could run for cover.

To John’s amazement, old Butch had his bell in his beak, so it couldn’t ring.

He’d sneak up on a pullet, do his job and walk on to the next one.

John was so proud of old Butch, he entered him in the Renfrew County Fair and he became an overnight sensation among the judges.

The result was the judges not only awarded old Butch the “No-Bell PiecePrize” but they also awarded him the “Pulletsurprise” as well.

Clearly old Butch was a politician in the making.

Who else but a politician could figure out how to win two of the most highly coveted awards on our planet by being the best at sneaking up on the populace and screwing them when they weren’t paying attention.

Vote carefully next time, the bells are not always audible.

Many of us voted carefully, but many others got the “Pulletsurprise”.
