  1. Sorry Papoose, here is your other one. I will add a couple from that one too.

  2. Oh, Renee, good start.

    Watergate. How reminiscent?

“What did you know and when did you know it”?

Now it’s, Who did you know and when did you know him?

  3. We’re fortunate to have these generous benefactors. What in the World would we do without them?

~~ Charter Schools are really cool, futuristic and spacious. I think I’ll establish one. Looks as easy as 1-2-3 according to the Wallis Annenberg High School stats.

I have been in search of a legal scam my whole life, you too?

    • Here’s an up and coming scam for you. It’s basically a not for profit internet bank. The link below is to a draft of their business plan. Started by – sit down – “The Society to Benefit Everyone” – a social mission with a bank, committed to sustainability and economic justice. There will be one brick and mortar building in western Massachusetts. Once the first common good bank opens, 50 people ANYWHERE can start a bank in just a few days, with no need for a bank building. From their business plan at

I wish I were making this up, but I’m not – would love to get the feedback from this group. I think there are enough wackos out there that will buy into this crap. Keep a bucket nearby – you may need it!

      • I will look into this Flygirl.

If it slithers like a snake and hisses like a snake it’s a …you know the rest. Where there’s money, there’s the Obama network.

The old NWO guys and the new NOI NWO guys are in a war for every single dollar. They both know the game – in fact it would make a great story. One’s a very secretive group and the other extremely in your face transparent. One group is ancient and centuries old and the other is a group of overgrown radicals from 50 years ago. The former became massively wealthy due to industry and banking, the latter through nonprofits and the education system. One group wasn’t about destroying America or productivity while trying to rule the world; the other is, and so or however, they’re just going to dictate.

    • Papoose, thanks for the laugh. I needed that. Another Brick in the Wall, one of my all time favorites. I can hear it now.

  5. Good Morning!

Off to work, but wanted to say I cannot wait to follow flygirl’s link. Tonight for sure.

Miri, I can’t get that out my head either…lol!

  6. I read the news today, oh boy.

About a lucky man who made the grade:

RIP, Mary Jo. We’ll never forget you.

  7. Redpill, Wow ! I read this story too. Horrible story ! How did people not go to prison for this ?
I agree. 3 or even 4 people in the car. I tend to think there were 2 couples. So sad.

    • After reading the details in the link above, I think they didn’t know she was in the car at the time of the accident. If there had been two couples, they would have known she was in the car.

Given other accounts I have read about Mary Jo, I think she was a very honorable young woman, and I think her reason for being there (on the islands of Martha’s Vinyard and Chappaquiddick) was primarily her desire to be reunited with her female friends, not primarily a desire to party with married men. I think that when things got wild, she left the party and went to the car. She probably did fall asleep in the car. Then, later, the married Teddy and one of the “party girls” decided to go the beach to be alone together.

If Mary Jo woke up in the back seat of the moving car, she may have decided to keep quiet.

The drunken Teddy drove off Dike bridge into only 8 feet of water in Poucha Pond, but since he and the party girl got out OK, and he didn’t know Mary Jo was in the back seat, his attention turned to covering up what happened and acting like he had been in Edgartown on Martha’s Vinyard island that night, instead of on Chappaquiddick island. Presumably, his cousin was going to take the blame for having driven the car off the bridge, in order to protect the young Senator.

That is, until the Police found Mary Jo’s body in the car (and thought it was Rosemary Keough’s body, because that is whose purse was also found in the car). Once they realized that someone had died in the car, Kennedy’s cousin was no longer willing to say that he had been driving it. Kennedy himself had to take the blame. But he wasn’t willing to tell the truth about what happened.

They tried to paint a ficticious picture of him making several valiant dives to save her (but couldn’t explain why he didn’t tell any neighbors or authorities for 10 hours). That was preferable to them than the truth: after several hours of partying, the married, drunken playboy was taking a young woman not his wife to the beach in the middle of the night, and in the process inadvertently ended the life of another young woman who appears innocent of any wrongdoing.

And the “progressives” think the death of this man should be memorialized by passing a Socialist takeover of our healthcare system?

      • Really, He is lucky to have been allowed to be free. I do not want this type of man to be a role model for my kids. I would have never voted him back into office or let him run. He obviously made alot of money doing his type of business. Why wouldn’t he do something along the line for his wages ? He killed someone. What is wrong with people ? He seems to be a drinker, a cheating hubby and a party boy. He caused the death of a young woman, drinking, driving and cheating ??? Why is he special ? I did not know this story. I will not watch anything about him on the news either. Our news is making him alot more then past judgement on his part shows him to be. I had heard refrence through the years of the supposed family curse, but when people live on the edge, this is what usually happens isn’t it Redpill ? Really a shameful story connected to him.Unbelievable .My vote is for political figures that are honest, have good values, get their rest for their jobs (working for us) and are at home in bed at night with their spouse. I am sorry, but if you are a party person, drinking, out late, looking for thrills, etc..I do not see that same person competent the next morning with a sharp mind, ready to do their job. With real integrity. Really sad. That is all I can say.

  8. I have always believed that the Kennedy men are a particular disgrace to the Irish as well as to the Catholic. Only my opinion.

May he rest in peace, however.

A bit of trivia for you: Kennedy, in Irish, means “ugly head.” Do you think they were aptly surnamed?

    • Miri,

Agree with all but the rest in peace. See my reply to Renee @ 10:56 PM

“Ugly Head”? The father and Ted were grotesque!

  11. Renee,

I remember poor Mary Jo’s death very well. Ted Kennedy was a drunken, adulterous killer from a line of jumped up trash. When someone asked FDR why he appointed a crook like Joseph Kennedy (father of John, Robert, and Ted) to head the SEC, he replied that it takes a thief to catch a thief.

For the death of Mary Jo, for using his power and prestige to both destroy Hillary Clinon’s chances at the presidency and promote obama, may his villainous soul rot in hell.

  12. Hi Red Pill,

    RP,
I’ve been directing lost TD regulars who also read at deadenders blog to this site and to drkatesview and jbjd. Deadenders (DE), also a regular at TD, has been very happy to oblige. He was on TD’s blogroll, so I request that he be added here. Thanks.

  15. Here’s a Slate article on Walter Annenberg:

    Citizen Annenberg
    So long, you rotten bastard.
    By Jack Shafer

Today’s Page One obituaries for Walter H. Annenberg in the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, and Washington Post barely scrape the festering keratosis that was his career in crime, journalism, and politics. “Media Tycoon Gave Fortunes to Others,” soft-pedals the Los Angeles Times. “Walter Annenberg, Philanthropist and Publisher, Dies at 94,” intones the New York Times. “Publisher, Philanthropist Walter Annenberg Dies,” echoes the Post.

I’d prefer the headline, “Billionaire Son of Mobster, Enemy of Journalism, and Nixon Toady Exits for Hell—Forced To Leave Picassos and van Goghs at Metropolitan Museum.”

Bridge, I can’t find the Annenberg? thread to put this on. Will you place this in the proper thread for me, thank you!

Ayers wrote the original grant that Annenberg funded and while he did not “sit on the board” he helped select those who did, being one of the grantees. Here’s a document letter from the original proposal:

Leonore Cohn Annenberg (February 20, 1918 – March 12, 2009), also known as Lee Annenberg, was a billionaire former Chief of Protocol of the United States (1981–1982). A prominent philanthropist, she was married to Walter Annenberg, who was an Ambassador to the United Kingdom and a business magnate. She served as the chairman and president of the Annenberg Foundation.

Born in New York City and raised in Los Angeles, she graduated from Stanford University. After her first two marriages ended in divorce, she married business magnate Walter Annenberg, who was appointed U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom in 1969. In her role as the ambassador’s wife, Leonore directed a major renovation of the ambassador’s official residence. The Annenbergs contributed to Ronald Reagan’s 1980 presidential campaign and upon his inauguration, Leonore was named Chief of Protocol, placing her in charge of advising the president, vice president, and Secretary of State on matters relating to diplomatic protocol.

The Annenbergs became major philanthropists, donating money to education facilities, charitable causes, and the arts. Leonore served on many committees and boards as well. Following Walter Annenberg’s death in 2002, she continued to donate money and promote the Annenberg Foundation.
