We haven’t yet discussed the case of Christopher Jordan Dorner, who’s the subject of a manhunt in California. Here’s some background: [emphasis added to quotes]

Despite the killings, Dorner seemed to be getting some sympathy. Where police see a violent killer, others saw Dorner as kind of an epic anti-hero waging war against an institution they see as corrupt.
Not only have the statist, leftist lamestream media not covered this story very thoroughly until now (it happened last weekend), but they also seem upset that the alleged perp does not fit the profile that they would prefer.
First of all, he’s black. Although he’s a veteran, which fits their “crazed veteran” meme, Dorner’s also an Obamaphile, who’s PRO-GUN CONTROL as well as ANTI-BIRTHER. As the Gateway Pundit wrote:

I was reminded this morning that Piers Morgan, one of Dorner’s favorite pundits, went berserk on Governor Sarah Palin for using a target in campaign material. He called for her to apologize to Gabrielle Giffords, as if Palin had something to do with the tragedy that befell Giffords.
So now, will Morgan apologize to the families of Dorner’s victims? Has the Southern Poverty Law Center apologized to Corkins’s victims? I think not.

13 WHAM News was first to report that six girls who attended LeRoy High School suffered from uncontrollable twitching in late 2011. New US commander takes the helm in Afghanistan

KABUL, Afghanistan – Marine Gen. Joseph Dunford took over Sunday as the new and probably last commander of all U.S. and international forces in Afghanistan.
The American-led NATO coalition is entering the final stretch of its participation in a war that will have lasted more than 13 years when most foreign combat troops pull out at the end of 2014.
Dunford took over leadership of the International Security Assistance Force, and a smaller but separate detachment of American troops, from Marine Gen. John Allen, who had led them for the past 19 months.

US senators propose assassination court to screen drone targets

It sounds like an Orwellian idea from a futuristic sci-fi movie. Government officials gather in a secret courtroom, poring over documents and weighing whether to approve the fly-by killing of a suspected terrorist.
If the judges say yes, the target dies. If not, the target lives.
But U.S. senators are now floating the idea of an assassination court as a way to rein in the ever-expanding drone program — a secretive operation that, as it is, sounds like thriller fiction, but isn’t.
The idea was bandied about during Thursday’s confirmation hearing for CIA director nominee John Brennan, who fueled the talk by saying he thinks the concept is “worthy of discussion.” The nominee, as a vocal supporter of the targeted-killing program, has come under scrutiny for what some lawmakers see as the administration’s unchecked power to kill, even if the target is an American citizen.

Angus King, I-Maine, said his concern is that too much power is vested in the Executive Branch when it comes to targeted killings. “I understand you can’t have co-commanders in chief, but having the executive being the … prosecutor, the judge, the jury and the executioner all in one is very contrary to the traditions and the laws of this country,” he said.

The Constitution set up the judicial system to determine guilt or innocence after the fact, but he seems to think that in absence of any prohibition saying that the potus CAN’T kill US citizens BEFORE they can commit any crime, then it’s allowed for the potus to decide it as part of his role as Commander in Chief. They will “find” that power in the “penumbra” of the Constitution. No, sir, Mr. Brennan. Powers not specified in the Constitution are reserved to the PEOPLE and to the States. The president has NO POWER to be judge, jury, and executioner of any US citizens, based upon his BELIEF that the person may endanger “American lives.” The FIRST RIGHT given by God is the right to LIFE.

The U.S. House of Representatives has the power to commence impeachment proceedings. If the House adopts an impeachment resolution, the U.S. Senate conducts a trial and determines whether to convict or acquit. If an official is convicted, he or she is removed from the position and may be barred from holding office again. The official may also face criminal prosecution.

“I don’t know what the president did that evening,” Graham said. “I don’t know if he ever called anyone. This was incredibly mismanaged, and what we know now, it seems to be a very disengaged president. What did he do that night? That’s not unfair.”
Graham also criticized then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. “When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said she had a clear-eyed assessment of the threats in Libya, that proved, after this hearing, not to be true,” he said. “She was blind. The president was just disengaged and the Department of Defense never launched one airplane to help these folks for seven-and-a-half hours. This is complete system failure, and I’m going to get to the bottom of it.”

Social Security Issued TWO Cards to Thousands of Noncitizens

The Social Security Administration Inspector General has found that 4,317 people were able to obtain two Social Security numbers — even though none of them were American citizens.“We identified 4,317 instances where the Numident record of two SSNs assigned to noncitizens contained matching first, middle, and last names; dates and places of birth; gender; and fathers’ and mothers’ names,” the Inspector General (IG) reported. Numident stands for Numerical Identification System and is the master file of applications for Social Security numbers.
The errors occurred between 1981 and 2011 because the SSA did not cross-check the names of the people applying for an additional Social Security number. “In each case, SSA had not cross-referred the records, indicating that SSA either was not aware it assigned two SSNs to the same noncitizen or it believed the number-holders were not actually the same person.”
The IG launched an audit after a noncitizen was convicted of defrauding the government out of $55,000 in Social Security and federal housing payments by using two Social Security numbers. The IG report said: “The individual concealed her earnings by obtaining and using two SSNs, one for employment purposes and the other to obtain low-income benefits through the Department of Housing and Urban Development and SSA.”
The IG found 514 cases where noncitizens had reported work under both numbers, making them appear eligible to receive twice as much in federal benefits. In 80 of those cases, at least 10 years of earnings had been reported under both numbers.
Incredibly, most multiple cards were issued by the same office. In nearly half of those cases, the second card was issued less than a week after the first card, including 251 on the same day, despite the use of duplicate information. In 58 cases, the SSA issued two cards despite the fact that both applications contained the same Alien Registration Number (ARN), the identifier issued to noncitizens.
“SSA controls designed to prevent issuance of multiple SSNs to noncitizens have been effective at preventing these occurrences, and the number of such cases has declined significantly over the past 30 years,” the report concluded. “However, SSA’s records indicated that, on occasion, the controls did not prevent the unauthorized issuance of multiple SSNs to noncitizens.

WHY are aliens getting even ONE Social Security number? Does the SSA check for LEGAL STATUS before issuing those ARNs? ARNs. Just think about how SIMPLE it would be to find illegals. If they have no ARN, then they’re illegal.
Imagine the fraud and waste. So not only did these people pick and choose which number to use so they could work and ALSO collect “low income” benefits, but they also potentially could have gotten TWO SS checks after they “retired” based upon the SAME EARNINGS. What a freaking scam.
It is SO SIMPLE and WAS, even in 1981, to cross check this stuff with a computer. It takes a tiny fraction of a second. No longer than it takes for you to run a search for anything on the Web (and considering the size of the Web versus the size of the SS database, an Internet search should take longer). It takes mere minutes to write the code into the program to catch these duplications.
This is so fundamentally stupid to NOT do it that one must assume that it’s built into the system to ALLOW it. In addition, if they don’t want to hold up the processing at the offices, they could periodically run a computer program to look for these kinds of duplications within the entire database.
There can and should be NO exceptions. It should be IMPOSSIBLE for anybody to get around the programmed controls. Even if one local office can get around them, there still should be periodically run “exception reports” that spot these duplications in the entire database and result in investigations and firings. Again, it must be that they WANT TO TURN A BLIND EYE to this fraud.
If one person can have two numbers, can two people have one number?

That’s the full report. An interesting footnote in the report:
“Certain numberholder information, like last name or citizenship status, can change over time. SSA does not update the Numident unless numberholders report these changes.”
I’m reading the report and when they said that the “same office” issued the duplicates, they meant that in many cases both numbers were issued to a specific person by the same office where s/he applied. That indicated, to the auditors, that it was LIKELY the same person and not two different people who happened to have the same identification facts. So it doesn’t appear to mean that there was one office that allowed this error to go through. It also seems that they allow DHS and the Dept. of State to initiate the process and there’s no or little control over whether or not a person can then go apply again and end up with two cards. DHS. I love it.

SO HOW, THEN, DO THEY SCREEN OUT ILLEGAL ALIENS? Do they just take the person’s WORD for it on the “citizenship” question?

Are they selling the cards with another person using the second card? The report says they didn’t contact the people with the cards, so how do they even know the identity of the person USING the card? This is a tip of the iceberg kind of thing, because they didn’t look at everything. They didn’t, for example, look for two people with one number.

Today, Los Angeles authorities offered a $1 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Christopher Dorner.

I read in the paper that it was from private donations. It’s getting absurd now. Theatre of the absurd! Charlie Sheen reaching out to Dorner because Dorner gave him a “shout out” in his manifesto. Anger management? WTF? Is this reality or a TV show? I think it was the Anchoress who wrote about how it’s no wonder that Dorner seems to have an overinflated theatrical sense of his importance, because his manifesto was just infused with pop culture, television, and movie references, and he writes as if he personally knows these celebrities he mentioned, including the Obamas. FINALLY, more than a week after the first murder, my local paper has a story on this on the front page (below the fold). They even put a photo of Dorner, but mentioned NOTHING about his politics, his love for Obama, etc. Had he been a white Tea Partier, his political views would have been focused on and hyped and on front pages at the top since a week ago Sunday. It’s the mendacity of the statist, leftist lamestream media that I absolutely abhor.

In order to achieve this wonderful world of peace and understanding, the statists need to convince the people to stop thinking like individuals, and for them to put the overall collective above their own personal needs and desires. The people must be taught to act in a manner that is good for the community, through governmental programs and policies. The problem for the social engineers is, people often have a tendency to want to hang on to pesky little things like individualism, self-reliance, personal responsibility, freedom, and their own pursuit of happiness.
To transform a society, the ruling elite realizes they must do what the military does during boot camp. The individuals must be torn down to nothing, and then rebuilt in a manner acceptable to the body politic. In this way, the members of society become a homogeneous mass of followers willing to do as they have been programmed.

Records show that Dorner reported the kicks a day after he received an evaluation in which Evans noted that he needed to show improvement in three categories, including the time it took to write reports, officer safety and use of common sense and good judgment. …”

If you think about how many people Obama has killed with these drones, it’s rather amazing. 3000. That’s a lot of people. Now WTPOTUS would certainly, and correctly, contest this contention that there ARE photos to document his post-Columbia period, but that’s beside my main point. FIRST AND FOREMOST: There’s no DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE OR TESTIMONIAL EVIDENCE or any other EVIDENCE that he was born in Hawaii to the people he claims as parents. THAT’S FAR MORE IMPORTANT to this Republic than whether or not he really went to Columbia.
I don’t give a rat’s ass whether he went there except that his general deviousness and lack of transparency and history of inventing tall tales PROVES that it’s crucial to get EVIDENCE THAT HE IS A NATURAL BORN CITIZEN. Nothing else matters.
It matters not if he really had girlfriends. Or that he lied about his grades. Or anything else that’s not pertinent to his role in usurping the office of the presidency. In a move certain to fuel the debate over Obama’s qualifications for the presidency, the group “Americans for Freedom of Information” has Released copies of President Obama’s college transcripts from Occidental College … Released today, the transcript school indicates that Obama, under the name Barry Soetoro, received financial aid as a foreign student from Indonesia as an undergraduate. The transcript was released by Occidental College in compliance with a court order in a suit brought by the group in the Superior Court of California.
The transcript shows that Obama (Soetoro) applied for financial aid and was awarded a fellowship for foreign students from the Fulbright Foundation Scholarship program. To qualify, for the scholarship, a student must claim foreign citizenship. This document would seem to provide the smoking gun that many of Obama’s detractors have been seeking. Along with the evidence that he was first born in Kenya and there is no record of him ever applying for US citizenship, this is looking pretty grim.

“FBI: Calif. Man Hoped to Incite ‘Civil War’ by Framing ‘Anti-Government’ Right-Wing Groups for Terror Attack
Federal agents arrested 28-year-old California native Matthew Aaron Llaneza on Friday after he allegedly attempted to detonate what he thought was a car bomb outside a Bank of America in Oakland, according to the FBI. Llaneza, a Taliban sympathizer, plotted to blame the attack on right-wing, anti-government groups in a bid to incite a “civil war.”
“Llaneza’s arrest was the culmination of an undercover operation during which he was closely monitored by the FBI’s South Bay Joint Terrorism Task Force. Unbeknownst to Llaneza, the explosive device that he allegedly attempted to use had been rendered inoperable by law enforcement and posed no threat to the public. Llaneza was charged this morning by criminal complaint with attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction against property used in an activity that affects interstate or foreign commerce,” according to an FBI press release.
Prior to his arrest, Llaneza met with a man he thought was connected with the Taliban and the mujahidin in Afghanistan — though he was actually an undercover FBI agent. The terrorist suspect suggested carrying out an attack against a bank in the San Francisco Bay Area using a car bomb. He planned to carry out the false flag attack and make it appear as if “the responsible party was an umbrella organization for a loose collection of anti-government militias and their sympathizers.” [Gee, then Barry could target THEM with drones!]
“Llaneza’s stated goal was to trigger a governmental crackdown, which he expected would trigger a right-wing counter-response against the government followed by, he hoped, civil war,” the FBI release states. …”

Yep, problems for me too. Rubio has had tons of information sent to him by tons of creditable people about the definition of NBC and showed historically, legally, why he is not eligible. He had a perfect opportunity to say (which would discredit Obama or at least bring major attention to his lacking nbc) “I won’t run for president; wouldn’t even try because I resprect the Constitution. I AM NOT ELIGIBLE according to the Constitution, being born to citizen parents. At the time of my birth my parents had not yet became citizens. ” BUT HE DOES NOT> (or maybe ‘can’t’)
It would be wise for Rubio to seek an opinion from the SCOTUS. If he doesn’t and he tries to run, make no mistake: The obots will contest him without any sense of irony. He might be hoping that nobody will have the guts to take it to the Court, because if they rule as they should, they’ll be saying that Barry’s ineligible and so his entire presidency was a sham. Not that I have much faith that if the SCOTUS does rule, they’ll say what they should say.
The guy has a point. He says that both Obama and Marco Rubio make the claim that before “immigrants” get citizenship, they should have to learn English. Then Rubio plans to give his response to the SOTU address in both English AND Spanish, which is nothing more than pandering. Agreed. The State of the UNION concerns CITIZENS. If all citizens should know English, then they should know what Rubio says about the union when he speaks English. If they’re not citizens, then it doesn’t concern them, anyway, does it? The writer is in Canada and has his own complaints about, I’m assuming, the fight up there over English versus French.

Keep in mind that the media excoriated Todd Akin for saying that a woman’s body can somehow reject the child of a rapist. Will the same happen to Marc Lamont Hill for saying that watching Dorner wreak havoc is “kind of exciting?” Yes, oh, so “exciting” for the families who were terrorized while Dorner was stalking them. Fifty is the number I heard. Fifty families targeted.
How “exciting” is it for the families of the DEAD? How “exciting” must it be to hear the likes of Hill bloviating on national TV that he found it “exciting” to watch Dorner stalk and kill their family members? Four innocents, two of them cops who died in the line of duty and two who were killed simply because the woman’s father tried to ADVOCATE for Dorner. Both of them, btw, were “minorities”. So some “minorities” are more equal than others to Marc Lamont Hill.
The CNN host actually nodded her head in agreement with Hill, appearing to agree that Dorner’s a “superHERO” for murdering four people via “gun violence” and that it was kind of “exciting” to watch him terrorize an entire state.
Sympathy for the victims of Sandy Hook. Praise for the murderer in California. Why?

If Dorner had been white and his victims black, would Marc Lamont Hill consider him a “superhero” who was “exciting” to watch? RACISM is the only explanation.
It says a lot about Hill’s soul that he would think it’s “exciting” to watch Dorner get his “revenge”. Against what? The white establishment? Retribution meted out against those who had nothing to do with “victimizing” Dorner, except that Hill perceives them to be symbols of the–what did Belafonte call it?–the “unjust systems of justice?”
Marc Lamont Hill calls Dorner’s words “powerful”. He probably feels the same about Barry’s bloviating. Two guys attributed with brilliance. Why? Because of the color of their skin?

Yes, she was. When I first saw a photo of the couple, I noticed that the fiance looked black. Another day, they showed her and I thought she was Asian. Black and Chinese makes sense.
I don’t think they showed their photos much. Heck, my paper didn’t show Dorner but once and that was a full 8 days after he killed that couple, Monica Quan and Keith Lawrence. I wonder if Marc Lamont Hill knew their races? You think once he learns he will still think it was “exciting” to watch Dorner get his “revenge”? They look like such nice wholesome people. Do you think Mooch will go to their funerals? Do you think Barry will call the families of these victims of “gun violence”?
