Veteran’s Day 2012 (Open Thread)

Honoring All United States Veterans!

Today, on Veteran’s Day we honor those soldiers  in the Armed Services who served our country in the past and  those who are now currently serving.  Our military men and women are stationed throughout the world to promote peace and freedom as we know it to be.   They risk their lives on a daily basis so that we can live free. We recognize all veterans as “Soldiers for Life”.

We honor all those who have valiantly served to keep our nation the home of the free and the home of the brave.  You have given your all and We the People of the United States

Thank You, because we know

Freedom Isn’t Free!

God Bless Our Troops Today and Everyday!

    • Why hide it? To leftists, this is a badge of honor. They’re all for this method of genocide. btw, did you hear about the black woman who opined on MSNBC that the reason whites oppose abortion is because they want to “build up the race?”

Compare and contrast. Here’s a radio host who just lost his job because he rightly stated that because blacks voted overwhelmingly for Barry on account of his race, that makes some conclude that blacks are bigots.

“[H]e also made another point that had more truth to it:

There was a black preacher that said, ‘Vote for the black man.’ If there was a white preacher that said, ‘Vote for the white guy,’ he would have been pillaged.

(We think you meant “pilloried,” Kevin, but you were ranting on the air in the heat of the moment; we understand.)

On this score, Slaten kind of has a point. Died-in-the-wool liberal Ray Hartmann, founder of the Riverfront Times and a regular on Donnybrook, recently made a very similar point on St. Louis Magazine’s website:

‘Missouri doesn’t do the diversity thing in statewide elections…. More than a quarter of a million voters in this state wouldn’t elect a black man at the same moment they were giving landslide wins to white candidates in his own party. I’m not seeing red about that. I’m seeing white.’

Hartmann appears to be saying that white voters picked Romney out of white solidarity. This is equivalent to Slaten’s claim that blacks voted for Obama because he’s black.

But where are the enraged people calling for Ray Hartmann’s head? (Not that he could ever get fired from a magazine he owns, but you get the point.)

In 2012 America, this is how it works: It’s okay for a person to accuse his/her own race of bigotry. It’s also okay for a black person to accuse whites of bigotry. But it’s decidedly not okay for a white person to accuse blacks of bigotry. Just ask Kevin Slaten.

There might be understandable historical reasons for this state of affairs. But it’s still a double standard.

btw, the Riverfront Times is the St. Louis equivalent of Rolling Stone. It’s an alternative paper that was founded back in the hippie heyday. It’s interesting that where you don’t find any attempt at balance in the lamestream, you can still find a smidgen of journalistic open-mindedness in papers like the Riverfront Times.

As for Hartman, notice that in his “logic” he doesn’t even consider that perhaps the reason whites voted against Barry might be his POLICIES! He’s the most far-left, communist, radical person ever in power in this country. Might it be that “whites” voted against communism? What about the 7% of blacks who voted against Barry? Do they hate their own race? What about all the whites who supported Allen West and other conservative black candidates? What about the Florida DemoncRAT party and the Arizona DemoncRAT party that chose WHITE MALE CANDIDATES to run against BLACK MALE AND FEMALE CANDIDATES? Are DemoncRATS in Arizona and Florida BIGOTS?

    • This is an old trick with this cabal, isn’t it?

““I don’t own this property and my sister does not own this property. We are not technically on this deed,” Malone Tuckson said.”

      • “However, public documents reviewed by show that the family transferred ownership to a family trust in 2009, eight months after President Barack Obama’s inauguration. But even the new deed directly names Holder’s wife and sister-in-law as trustees. After inquiries by Watchdog reporters, Tuckson contacted the Fulton County Assessor’s office and asked them to change tax records to reflect the “new” ownership.

But none of these technical changes obscures the Holders’ conflict of interest. Catherine Davis, a founding member of the National Black Prolife Coalition and president and founder of The Restoration Project — a Stone Mountain, Ga.-based pro-life, pro-family organization — said she’s outraged by the revelations.

There is a clear conflict of interest when the man charged with pursuing those that abuse the system is also one who is engaged in some way with the business,” said Davis, whose organization brought the issue to the attention of Watchdog.

Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, a national pro-life organization based in Wichita, Kan., said the disclosures help him understand why Holder has been targeting pro-life advocates.”

        • “The Georgia and national office of Planned Parenthood did not return calls for comment.

Davis’ organization, the National Black Prolife Coalition, has been working with Georgia pro-life activists on the state’s failure to enforce abortion regulations. Davis also spearheaded a billboard campaign, “Betrayed – Abortion in the Hood,” to call attention to the pro-abortion views of many African-American leaders and the disproportionately high rates of abortion in black communities. Abortion is the No. 1 one killer of African Americans, according to the National Black Prolife Coalition.

“Here in Georgia, almost 60 percent of abortions in the state are on black women, and it’s been that way for 15 years,” Davis said. “In New York, for every 1,000 babies born alive, 1,448 are aborted.

In every state that reports abortion figures, you will find it’s more likely that black women are leading. In Virginia, it’s 47 percent of black women. In Mississippi, it’s 78 percent of black women. The impact is devastating.””

So by the Nancy-Giles-standard, “blacks” like Holder and Barry must want to TEAR DOWN the race. Genocide.

  3. plain and simple.

    Liars. Misprison of felony abound.

  5. Christopher Monckton:

“Cold Case Posse boss fingers Hawaii officials”

“An angry statement just sworn by the lead investigator of a team assigned to review Barack Obama’s birth certificate says Hawaii officials – who are Democrats like Obama – are using “elaborate non-cooperation” to conceal birth records from law enforcement and the public.

The sworn affidavit comes from Cold Case Posse lead Mike Zullo just a week after the publication of a sworn mathematical analysis demonstrating the near-zero probability that the White House “birth certificate” is genuine.

Also, a math professor from Louisiana State University, Charles Delzell, has confirmed and endorsed the mathematical conclusions in yet another sworn statement.

Zullo, a seasoned sleuth who heads the team deputized by Joe Arpaio, recently re-elected sheriff of Maricopa County, Ariz., fingers Hawaii’s governor, deputy attorney general and health department chiefs as obstructing justice.

Zullo’s affidavit charges these officials are “hiding” original birth records, thwarting the posse’s hunt for those who forged the document at the White House website.

His detailed catalog of Hawaii’s misfeasance is shocking.”
