Obama News, and a New Open Thread

OK. So what’s up with this?

President Barack Obama says his wife and daughters aren’t “invested” in him being president and would have been fine had he decided against running for re-election. But he says they believe in what he’s doing for the country.

Asked about his family’s reaction to his wanting another term, Obama said: “Michelle and the kids are wonderful in that if I said, `You know, guys, I want to do something different,’ They’d be fine. They’re not invested in daddy being president or my husband being president.”

He says first lady Michelle Obama would be the first one to encourage him to do something “a little less stressful” if she no longer thought that what they were doing was worthwhile for the country.

EARTH TO MO: It’s not “worthwhile” for the country to destroy it. Just sayin’. It would certainly be a LOT “less stressful” for We the People should Barry become a one-termer.

So Barry said that if he were Anthony Weiner, guilty of “highly inappropriate” behavior, he’d step down. ROFLOL! He kept on going during the Sinclair affair. But wait! There was no scandal (nothing to see here; move along) because unlike Weiner, Barry’s a lamestream media darling (aka a protected one). No scandal shall touch a hair upon that scarred little head.

Here’s another Earth to MO incident. Michelle Obama, speaking about her husband:

“I see the sadness and worry that’s creasing his face,” she said to a crowd of about 500 at the Pasadena luncheon organized by the Southern California Women For Obama. She described his worth ethic as “tireless,” according to pool reports.

“He reads every word, every memo, so he is better prepared than the people briefing him,” she said. “This man doesn’t take a day off.”

Again, ROFLOL. He doesn’t take a day off! How can she say that with a straight face? How many golf outings in his scant 2 1/2 years in office? 72? 11 weekends in a row now.  He’s surpassed George W. Bush’s 8 years already!

How many vacations? Try to find out! It’s not easy. Some say he’s taken fewer days than GWB, but (and it’s a big butt–whose, I shall decline to say) GWB’s were frequently working vacations while Barry’s are purely fun and games, often featuring a 20-limo motorcade, said limos chosen from among the many in the fleet that has increased by 73% since Barry became POTUS.

Let’s not forget those every-Wednesday-night, Wagyu-beef, command-performance galas in our WH.  It’s hard work hobnobbing with global-community glitterati.  Turns one’s hair gray.  So stressful. 

Wait! What? Here’s further clarification from MO. It appears that perhaps the toll being taken on Barry comes from the strain of incessant campaigning!  From the same Politico story,

She said the next two years of campaigning would be difficult for the Obamas and their supporters.

Oh, it is stressful, indeed.  All the more so because they’re playing to empty houses? Now we’ve come full circle.  Do tight-fisted donors and fewer supporters explain Barry’s “sadness and worry,” eliciting that comment about one term?

On the other hand, could Barry’s work already be complete?  What an achiever!  He’s accomplished his Alinsky goals in less than one term. Here’s an excellent but frightening analysis of what’s in store for our beloved Republic.

It’s hard not to see the signs all around us that America has begun a cataclysmic downward spiral in finances and morality. It’s like watching a slow motion murderous wreck, all the while denying that it is actually occurring. I assure you, what is unfolding in the US now is all too real. It’s a reality that is about to smack Americans full frontal in the face and many will never even see it coming until it is way too late.

It is hard for me to imagine how people cannot see what is happening in finances and in politics in their own country. It is in the news if you look at all… It is on the Internet for all to see… It is whispered by many all around us if you just listen.

Or maybe his talk of being a one-timer has something to do with this:

Atty. Orly Taitz has resubmitted her complaints to the U.S. District Court in Washington, DC in accordance with Judge Royce Lamberth’s request and is awaiting his decision regarding a “Vaughn Motion” which would require the government to “state whether or not they have” Obama’s original social security application. 

Will justice finally be served?  Will We the People ever have standing in our own courts or is all a sham? An Alinsky nightmare from which we will never awaken?
