Of course, the Progressive Left “never lets a crisis go to waste” and they are following Alinsky’s rules to the letter. Instead of sympathy and empathy for the victims in Tucson, they immediately accused the Right of being involved only a few minutes after the massacre was announced. The Left blogs, announcers, and politicians were so quick to respond, it is as if they had prior knowledge of the tragedy. To cover for themselves, the nasty accusations began. They were getting facts wrong, and quickly announced that Rep. Gabby Giffords was dead. She wasn’t. But it appears they expected her to be.
Sheriff Clarence Dupnik, Pima County, AZ , spoke live several times and repeated his opinion that Arizona has become the mecca for prejudice, vitriol, and bigotry, and he placed blame on the media and other sources for inflaming the public in their attacks on the U.S. Unfortunately, the Sheriff, a Democrat, was attributing his criticism at the Right when it is the Left that is so filled with hate, promotes revolution, supports terrorists, and wants to incite violence. It is the Left that supports an ideology that is truly anti-American. The Daily Kos and Media Matters, wicked leftist websites, on a daily basis, misstate, twist news, and attack people who disagree with their Marxist Communist ideology, policies, and positions. That the anchors of the MSM promote and support these same minority views is pathetic.
The media and leftist organizations like the Southern Poverty Law Center, with their constant propaganda spewing against law-abiding people and organizations, have awakened Americans. The lovers of freedom and liberty are revolting and turning away from these leftist networks in droves. Their covering of the Tucson tragedy is an example of the Left twisting facts, inventing a story, then spinning and manufacturing information and reporting their creations as fact.
Now after the spinning, the Left’s spokesmen are saying we should turn down the vitriol. What? They are the ones who use the inflaming words. Who can forget Janet Napolitano calling tea partiers “Right-wing extremists”, Pelosi referring to us as “astro-turf” or Obama saying his opponents were “enemies” and that the left should “Hit back twice as hard.” Claire McCaskill (D-MO) told the press that if democrats were not allowed to raise taxes on the rich, “It really is time for Americans to take up pitchforks.“ Most recently revealed by a video of Frances Fox-Piven, a 60′s leftist radical, was calling for all U.S. workers to rise up and revolt. Violence has always been Piven’s preferred method of collapsing the United States. In 2004, she said that “violence is condoned as long as it is part of a grand plan!” It was she who was recently telling followers of the Left to rise up and increase the violence. It was she and her ilk who are promoting a revolution in the U.S. like those occurring in other countries. Normal, God-fearing, patriotic Americans are their targets! That means You!
It was more than likely that the planned assassination of Rep. Giffords was a follower of the Left. The best indicator of Jared Loughner’s ideology was the listing of his favorite books on his MySpace page as being The Communist Manifesto and Mein Kampf. How many people on the right would list those ideological books as their favorites? The answer is NONE!
The squatters in the White House are believers and extol another Communist tyrant, Mao. Normal Americans would not hang a Christmas bulb with Mao’s face on it like the Obama’s did. Normal American’s are not prone to violence, but the Left is known for it. There is no doubt that the Tucson madman is a Progressive.

Jim Hoft, Gateway Pundit, reported that “One veteran Democratic operative, who blames overheated rhetoric for the shooting, said President Barack Obama should carefully, but forcefully, do what his predecessor did.
“They need to deftly pin this on the tea partiers,” said the Democrat. “Just like the Clinton White House deftly pinned the Oklahoma City bombing on the militia and anti-government people.”
Hoft stated,

Regarding a CNN discussion, a commenter wrote that he had just watched a report and panel discussion with Wolf Blitzer about the shooting. They were trying to paint Sarah Palin as the villain that spurred Jarred Loughner to action.

The Progressive Left’s main political blog, the Daily Kos, quickly deleted the following demented posting from their blog. On to the game they play, a few bloggers captured the post before the Daily Kos deleted it. Who is the insane Blue Boy who wanted to commit suicide himself and had tried to do so? Perhaps the FBI should look into the posters at Daily Kos and Media Matters as well as those in charge who are undoubtedly responsible for inciting violence. Markos Moulitsas, the editor- in- charge and founder of The Daily Kos, who takes his marching orders from George Soros and John Podesta, should be investigated for their anti-American postings.
The Daily Kos continues blaming this shooting on right-wing rhetoric, while the leftist politicians are ramping up more legislation that fits their agenda, yet it has nothing to do with the shooting. Bob Brady (D-PA) says he will introduce a bill that would ban symbols [surveyors symbols] like that now-infamous campaign cross hair map of Sarah Palin’s. Then he says, “We need to be more civil with each other. We need to tone down this rhetoric.” The idiocy of saying a political map led the madman in Tucson to violence is beyond comprehension. As expected, Democrats are calling for more gun legislation. Rep. Carolyn McCarthy (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Frank R. Lautenber (D-NJ) are both using the shooting massacre as an opportunity to introduce legislation targeting the high-capacity ammunition clip that Jarred used.

Additionally, the hits against the right just keep coming. The American Patriot Foundation received an anonymous, threatening letter postmarked from Columbus, OH with this message.
This is to inform you that Ltc. Larkin (sic) is a FUCKING COWARD who should be put in front of a firing squad and shot. If I see his ass on the Streets of Washington I will save the government the expense of a trial, I’ll dip a bullet in shit and shoot him in the head. This fuck off deserves to die on the streets of America.
This threat was submitted to Postal Inspectors, but the agency could not identify the venomous writer. How hard did they try to find the writer of this nasty, vile, threatening letter? Does this sound like a right-winger? Of course not. The Right totally supported LTC. Lakin in his quest to determine if Obama was eligible to serve as president. Like millions of others Dr. Lakin, who is now a political prisoner, wants Obama to prove he is a natural born citizen. The Left is afraid to know the truth about Obama and they protect Obama instead of standing up for the Constitution.
Who is responsible for all of these Leftist postings? Exposing the Left’s hypocrisy and their promotion of all that is anti-American must be our goal. To save America, we can not let them take over the conversations. To do so, is to allow them to be the major voice of Americans, and they are the wrong voice. Expose them and their words. Keep them on the defensive. They have nothing to offer except fear, violence and oppression. We must press for the Pro-American Voices to be heard on the MSM. We will make no apologies for our United States. We must suppress the voices from the Left as being the major spokesmen for our country. We must get louder. The Soros machine and its many tentacles must be disassembled and put into the nearest dumpsters. These people are dangerous!

Bill O’Reilly was at his best tonight. He discussed this exact issue for the entire hour. I’m doing a happy dance because he has a huge viewership and this will get even more traction. Brit Hume said something very enlightening: He talked about how Bill Clinton, after a huge defeat in the midterm elections, just like Barry, faced Oklahoma City in a way that helped him rebuild some popularity. He “spoke eloquently” at the memorial service. Do you see how Barry is trying to recreate history here? He studies “what worked” in the past so he can PRETEND to be “presidential”. It’s ALL AN ACT. I just saw on FOX that Barry will go to Tucson for a memorial service (will he plagiarize Clinton’s OK City speech?). He’s ALSO going to have a bipartisan prayer service in DC. Overdoing it? Was ANYTHING remotely like this done for the victims of the Ft. Hood MASSACRE? Those victims who should have had a special place in Barry’s heart, given that he’s supposed to be their commander in chief?
Brit Hume also said that while Clinton was appropriately sympathetic and compassionate, he sent his minions out to demonize Rush Limbaugh and the right wing and to try to connect them to the atrocity. Sound familiar?
It didn’t work then, and it’s not working today. Bernie Goldberg was similarly outraged and hopes that “decent liberals” will be as angry at the politicization of this tragedy and vote with their feet. In other words, cancel their subscriptions to the New York Times. btw, did you know that Krugman ALSO attacked Michele Bachmann, trying to make her nearly an accessory to this murder? It’s beyond outrageous.

The American Patriot Foundation has received dozens of threatening phone message, e-mails and letters during “birther” Army officer Terrence Lakin’s legal proceedings the past few months, including two letters that view the words “GOP” and “Birthers” through a sniper scope.
An APF official claims the threats are inspired by media attacks on people who question President Barack Obama’s eligibility to serve in the White House, even as many media figures are attempting to blame the Tucson massacre on harsh rhetoric from Republicans and conservatives
No links between Loughner and Palin, conservatives, Republicans or the tea party have surfaced since the shooting. A far different picture of Loughner is emerging: that he is a mentally deranged leftist who formerly volunteered for Giffords and the Democratic party.
Militant Association of Democrats targets GOP

A lobbyist married to a key White House aide was found dead early Monday in her sport-utility vehicle, which was heavily damaged by fire in the garage of the couple’s Capitol Hill home, authorities said. The cause of her death was unknown.
Ashley W. Turton, 37, an energy company lobbyist and former chief of staff to Rep. Rosa L. DeLauro (D-Conn.), was found dead shortly before 5 a.m. in the SUV. The front end of the vehicle was charred and facing into the burning garage. The back end, less damaged than the front, was protruding slightly from the garage.
Turton, a mother of three children, was the wife of Daniel A. Turton, 43, the White House’s deputy director of legislative affairs for the House of Representatives. He is President Obama’s point man on legislation moving through that body.
The incident apparently occurred as Turton was leaving home earlier than usual for work, anticipating a busy day in her downtown office. Her employer, Progress Energy, and another North Carolina utilities giant, Duke Energy, announced Monday that Duke is buying Progress for $13 billion in stock.
Ashley Turton was an aide to former congressman Richard A. Gephardt (D-Mo.) before serving as DeLauro’s top staffer and joining Progress. Daniel Turton worked for Gephardt and the House Rules Committee before moving to the White House. The Turtons were a Washington power couple well known in Democratic circles.

Connections to the House of Representatives makes me wonder what that body (no pun intended) might have to do with this, because change of leadership means change of knowledge and power to subpoena and investigate. Somebody at Free Republic wondered if this is “Fosterizing”. My sentiments exactly. What a coinkidink and we know that there are none in the Obamanation.

Yet she was leaving, not arriving, so why crash into the back of the garage and why was the back of the car sticking out of the garage? What caused the fire? Why didn’t she get out of the car? If the airbags deployed, don’t they ordinarily deflate shortly thereafter? It was before 5 a.m., when the fire was discovered, right after the neighbors heard the crash. Where were the husband and children at that time of the day? Live-in nanny?

So there’re several discrepancies. Was she leaving and ran into the rear of the garage somehow, or did she “CRASH THROUGH” the garage doors and so was arriving home? Or did she crash through the doors backwards, without opening them, and then went forward to crash into the rear of the garage? Second discrepancy: Neighbors say she was leaving to catch a plane. The WaPo story says she was headed to her DC office for a long day of work on that merger.
Was she “Fosterized,” as in Vince? What did she know about how legislation got through, especially with regard to energy bills, TARP, how stimulus funds were spent and awarded? All these are items that the new House leadership will probably investigate. What did her husband know? Who’s likely to get a subpoena from Issa?

OH! But it is perfectly acceptable when the president advised his audience(s), during his election campaign, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun”. That to me sounds more like a direct threat to life and limb than Sarah Palin’s symbolic bull’s eye or crosshaired scope.
By the way, a short while back, 6 months or so, I went to Wal Mart to buy a sports rifle for this years deer season. Filled out all the questions on the application, gave them my money, a call was placed to register my name and application data, only to be informed I would not be allowed to buy a gun. I would need to inquire of the FBI why I was refused even though I have not so much as been given a parking ticket in the last 30 years. Then it dawned on me, Department of Homeland Security and ex-service men/women & Home grown terrorists. But this leftist taught Arizona “shooter” was allowed to purchase an automatic pistol that has one purpose only, a weapon to shoot people. What a sick bunch of bastards we have running this nation today.
You ought to pursue it and find out exactly WHY you were refused.
Miri, I was told I would have to inquire by writing to an FBI address given me by the Wal Mart store. No way to inquire by phone. I went home, told my wife what happened, she goes to Wal Mart and buys a more expensive rifle than what I tried to buy. My wife told me I could borrow her new rifle since she doesn’t hunt
. I still have my money and a new rifle to boot. Still, it is the principle of the matter.
You ought to do a FOIA request for your entire file. Short of that, I’d write to that office to find out why. They may be mixing you up with someone else. Happens all the time and it should be straightened out, if that’s the case.
Miri, I thought about it. That was my first thought too, just a mix-up of identification. But do you know how many questions there are on those applications? It would be one chance in quite a few chances that another old geezer as old as I am could have the same set of credentials. If I was 25 years or so younger I would be finding out what is going on. In fact I am basically at the I DON’T GIVE A DAMN AGE! LOL! only joking. i do give a damn. Sort of.
What I really care for is this nation (among other things) and what it has stood for and what or Who has stood for it, namely God Himself. Great article. Keep pointing out the facts. I’m working on a new angle that nobody is covering. Sheriff Clarence Dupnik (D-AZ) has been blaming everyone and anyone for the actions of this lunatic. I am looking into who issued the gun permit to Jared Loughner. I don’t know the gun laws of Arizona (besides you don’t have to have a concealed weapons permit to carry conceals) but here in NC, one must go down to the Sheriff’s Dept to apply for a gun permit. Then you wait 5 days. Once the FBI conducts their supposed background check, the Sheriff signs and issues the permit to the applicant.
If this is the same process for Arizona, this Sheriff is responsible, since he knew Loughner, from previous threats and run-ins. He knew this guy was a mental midget and issued him the gun permit. I will let you know what I discover

We discussed the possibility that Dupnik was doing a little CYA because of his deflections; it’s on the original thread about the shooting. He apparently knew of this suspect before, through drug arrests and possibly the school incidents. It’s hard to investigate anything since the story is ever changing. I heard that he bought the gun in November at Sportsman’s Warehouse. Then I heard on one of the lamestream stations last night, while channel surfing to see what those jerks were saying, that he first went to one Walmart that wouldn’t sell it to him, so he went to another Walmart that did. I had never heard Walmart brought into this, but it’s like the left to try to tarnish Walmart. Walmart is one of the left’s pet peeves (no union, you see). So does anybody even know WHERE he got the gun? I read somewhere that he passed an FBI background check. So even if someone is kicked out of college until he gets a psych evaluation, and even if he’s been arrested multiple times for drug possession/abuse, he can still somehow pass a background check? The leftist on the lamestream station (I think it was MSNBC) said that stores don’t HAVE TO sell to a person even if he or she passes the background check. They have the option to simply refuse, if the person seems (what can I say?) unhinged. I don’t know if that’s true or not. The state where I live has stricter requirements for handguns than for long arms, like shotguns and rifles, so that’s a good question: Is there a waiting period for handguns in AZ and did this sheriff, in particular, sign off on the permit/purchase? Do let us know what you discover. We’re not particularly researching that angle, just speculating about his probable motives for deflecting blame, other than that he’s a Democrat and that’s what they do.
Everyone is wondering how the shooter was able to obtain a gun. I heard last night that the blame goes to Arizona for NOT SENDING to the Fed. government the reports listing the mentally ill to be put into their database. If they had sent them then the shooter would have been unable to get a gun…IF his name was on the list. (This will be used to discredit Jan Brewer’s administration). Turning it back onto the enemy, AZ.
Still wondering why they say on one hand, that the FBI was there at the time of the shooting, yet the Rep didn’t have security. How were they johnny on the spot? How did the news of the shooting get out so quickly? How did that woman rep chime in so quickly?
As I wrote the above, I wondered if it was Rep. Rosa L. DeLauro (D-Conn.) who was the first person to give her take on the AZ shooting? I know it was a name that I was unfamiliar with..and this rings a bell. I am noting this prior to knowing the answer, so I don’t forget.

I don’t know, Bridgette. I don’t even remember where I first heard about the shooting. But the WaPo actually reported that the Congresswoman died, citing CNN and NPR. That was curious enough in itself and I wonder how long it was from the time of the incident until that false word went out. When someone’s shot in the head at close range, it’s a good bet they probably won’t survive; but one would think a reporter would check THAT “fact” before reporting it. Imagine how her husband felt, if he heard that on the radio or TV. I heard some eye witness reports on FOX last night.
One of the men who took Loughner down is a retired Colonel himself. Looked as if he is in his 70s. He was shot in the back of the head by Loughner, who was coming down the line, shooting everybody in the chairs, one by one. The bullet gouged the back of the Colonel’s scalp, but thankfully it didn’t enter his head. The colonel was on the ground, but he stood up as soon as Loughner paused in his shooting. Loughner was right there in front of the Colonel. Another man hit Loughner over the head/back with a folded up chair and then the Colonel grabbed Loughner’s left hand and took him down! Then he put a choke hold on him. Then a 61-year-old woman knelt on Loughner’s ankles after grabbing the ammunition clip. The other man got hold of the gun. When she saw how profusely the Colonel was bleeding, all the while hanging onto Loughner, she got someone else to kneel on Loughner’s ankles and she went into the store to get a compress to hold on the Colonel’s head wound. Then they had to wait for the cops to show up.
Someone else said that Loughner walked right up to Giffords, shot her, turned and shot the little girl. In cold blood. I had thought it likely that she was hit by a ricochet, but no. He targeted her. What kind of evil possesses that man?
You’re probably right that they’ll try to blame Brewer, if they can’t blame the Right Wing. Very good point. Remember how, during Katrina, they jumped right over the Democrat mayor and Democrat governor to BLAME GWB. Perceptive!
Scotty, obviously-I think, there is more to this Arizona killing spree than meets the eye. The Washington Post has an article that states Loughner is a registered Independent, an inactive Independent since he has not voted in the last elections. Obama is traveling to Tuscon today to offer his sympathy for the dead and wounded. Since when has Obama been so compassionate toward the dead and wounded [Ft. Hood?].Actually I think he is going there [Tuscon] to try and put the quieeeteous to the incident because it is moving to fast for his comfort. But Obama is a day late and a dollar short, he should have been in Arizona months ago doing damage control to our national border instead of suing the State of Arizona for trying to defend and protect itself from foriegn invaders.
This will impact the immigration reform in a way he will not like I am sure. That seems to be the very thing that is most disturbing to the liberal sheriff Dupnik (more correctly spelled Dipstik), since he thinks at least half the citizens of Arizona are a bunch of racists and/or bigots to begin with. People who are on the losing side of any situation tend to become desperate.

On Free Republic, somebody wrote that Dupnik once actually advised citizens to carry guns because law enforcement can’t protect everybody from all the violence out there. But then again, he was against conceal/carry. So which is it, Dupnik?

About Arizona, Dupnik the philosopher said, “We are the Mecca for prejudice and bigotry.” HUH? The “MECCA”? Isn’t that an unfortunate turn of phrase? “Mecca for prejudice and bigotry?” Hmmm. Will Barry like that?
Some other things have come up in my life and I have not done as much research as others here have, so I need to catch up. Two quick impressions I have are:
1. trying to make this into a Kennedy/Camelot moment. Saw last night brief coverage of the Minute of Silence and almost fainted seeing Michelle Obama in a Jackie Kennedy overcoat straight out of 1963, you know, fitted bodice and flared from waist, above the knee length, smooth fabric, subdued, sort of mauve color, was what I could see in the quick shot. No boots, just plain pumps and Michelle looking ever so somber. So different from that ghastly red-splashed silk cocktail dress she wore at the posthumous Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House some months ago.
2. a sheriff is the county’s political official, charged with executing election law, and the county is the smallest unit that contains a board of elections, reporting in most cases directly to the Secretary of State in each state which houses the state’s board of elections, making it the largest department in most state governments. For example, if there is a situation at a polling place where there’s trouble, the sheriff or his/her deputy is called in, not the police. The sheriff is elected by the people, the chief of police is appointed by the mayor of the municipality. In the situation on Saturday in Tucson, it seems very odd to me that the Sheriff and his deputies did not play a role in controlling the situation that transpired, where two federal officials, a Congresswoman and a federal judge were wounded and one died. Also, how quickly we had the President declaring flags at half-staff and the Kennedyesque ceremony and the new Congress’ agenda put on hold. It appears to me to be a “false flag” operation of some kind, to keep us further under the heel of the government.
I completely agree that they’re trying to create a “Kennedy/Camelot” moment. In fact, they’ve been copying the Kennedys all along. The Camelot symbolism, only this time it’s a black couple (if you believe he’s black). Everything is Kabuki Theatre with them. It’s all for show. To FOOL the people because they truly believe that we are too STUPID to see through them.
As for Michelle’s clothing, it’s puzzling. She’s too young for it to be explained away as simply someone whose style never changed with the times. Like Condi Rice’s hairdo. Condi’s probably worn her hair like that for years. But MO is deliberately trying to channel Jackie Kennedy, with the sixties, even fifties, clothing styles.
I also saw a small clip of the Moment of Silence and their pretend sadness was so transparent. I very nearly gagged. It bordered on blasphemy because I know it was theatre, for their own political ends, not out of respect for the dead. Did you see any such sadness or compassion for the Ft. Hood victims? No, all you got from them is “don’t jump to conclusions and tar all Muslims with the same brush.” In fact, we heard that Hasan himself was a victim, because of the horrors he had to witness courtesy of GWB’s war policies. Besides, Hasan is mentally unstable so not responsible for his actions. The white Christian devils made him do it. Didn’t Obama send Biden to that memorial service?
Obama is going there to try to recreate Clinton’s success with turning people back towards him after the mid-term elections in ’94. It’s been suggested by some of Obama’s supporters that he use this incident like the true Alinsky acolyte that he is: Never let a crisis go to waste. Some have actually suggested that he mimic Clinton (my characterization) to fool the people into thinking he’s something that he’s not. Oklahoma City helped Clinton’s image, when he showed up, appropriately compassionate and feeling everyone’s pain, made an eloquent speech, etc. Barry’s going to turn on the theatrics, and use this event to make it all about him, as usual. He’ll talk like a CHRISTIAN (haven’t you noticed THIS particular big effort on his part since the midterms) and he’ll act AS IF he cares. All to rebuild his poll numbers by looking presidential. Because he thinks he can fool some of the people all of the time. And maybe he can.

All of these incidents show us, as with the Virginia Tech killings, that early intervention WAS possible and SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE, before these senseless murders were allowed to happen. THIS is why they are deflecting the blame to the Right. Because it proves what a failure their LEFTIST policies are. Count them:
*Tolerance of drug abuse. Soros wants to legalize drugs, as do many liberals.
*Despite laws, they give multiple second chances to drug abusers. Why was that case dismissed? If he’d been convicted (and some say he was, so more discrepancies in reporting), then he wouldn’t have been able to buy a gun.
*Multiple chances to keep him mainstreamed in school. Why did it take at least 5 incidents with campus police and multiple teachers complaining about fear of him, before he was asked to leave? Why wasn’t it followed up on? Aren’t there laws that teachers/administrators are supposed to report such incidents to social service departments? If his parents neglected him by not getting him the psychiatric help he so obviously needed, why wasn’t that reported? When he overdosed on tequila and had to be rushed to the hospital, why wasn’t there an intervention at that point, because he was a minor, if still in high school, so laws against minors drinking were ignored, too. His parents might have been charged. What happened to the school, which allowed him (apparently) to bring liquor to school and drink on campus?
About Dupnik: I saw on FOX last night that he’s one of the AZ sheriffs who notoriously will NOT enforce immigration laws. So, HE’S an anarchist and a hypocrite, too, because although he’s in law enforcement, sworn to uphold the law, he breaks his oath and picks and chooses which laws he will enforce. Obviously, someone fell down on the job with regard to Loughner, because despite multiple incidents with law enforcement, he was walking around, free to buy a gun and murder and wound innocent people, among them one of Dupnik’s very own friends.

They are SO transparent. They try to connect any conservative that they’re REALLY SCARED of to this event. Throwing anything they can against those they fear as opponents. In a way, it’s a compliment. They know that Sarah Palin is a threat, because she’s not afraid of them, she’s eloquent, and the people like her. They are beginning to see what a real threat Col. West MIGHT BE if he should choose to run for POTUS, so their game will be to try to tar him before most of the people in the country have a chance to form an opinion about him, to learn who he is and how admirable he is. They got out there in front of Palin and managed to trash her so badly, with such heinous and false attacks, that a certain proportion of the too-lazy-to-inform-myself crowd bought it, thus her high negative numbers in polls.
I’m not surprised that Barry’s speech to the “memorial service” will be in prime time. Are you? Will this rival the Wellstone funeral for politicization? Or the Mel Carnahan funeral? Did Barry make a speech to the nation after Ft. Hood? Did he even go to the memorial service? Why do I feel another disingenuous speech coming on? One that the lamestream will tout as brilliant just as they touted that ridiculous, self-serving speech about Rev. Wright as ingenious? They’re saying that Obama must make this speech to calm a “rattled nation”. I dare say that we were FAR MORE RATTLED by the Ft. Hood shootings than this one. Just last year, there was a shooting similar to the Tucson one in St. Louis. ABB Industries, I believe the name of the location was. A man came to work and shot and killed co-workers. Did Barry make a speech? No. Did he even comment? No. So what makes this incident more important than the TERRORIST attack at Ft. Hood? Nothing. Except Barry just got shellacked and has been advised to pull a Clinton-after-Oklahoma-City act, which he’s doing. As I said, the Ft. Hood incident, which he studiously avoided commenting on, especially advising us not to jump to conclusions, is FAR MORE RATTLING to We the People than what happened in Tucson. One crazy kid who ought to have been removed from society by teachers, parents, administrators, deputies, Sheriff Dupnik, etc., is far less frightening to the NATION than someone like HASAN who is part of a GLOBAL JIHADIST WAR that is focused UPON KILLING AS MANY AMERICANS AS POSSIBLE. The only legislation or programs that I can see might help the Tucson situation is to change the laws that mainstreamed the mentally ill and allowed them to remain in society when they should have been locked up for their own good and for society’s. btw, Mark Fuhrman said that ANY law enforcement official (including the campus police as well as Sheriff Dupnik) at ANY TIME while interacting with Loughner, even during a traffic stop if he acted bizarre, could have initiated a mandatory 72-hour lockup FOR THE PURPOSES OF A MENTAL EVALUATION. THAT, if it had been done, WOULD HAVE PREVENTED HIM FROM BUYING THAT GUN. Everybody in a position of authority who interacted with Loughner and recognized (but ignored) his erratic behavior, has some responsibility (if anyone besides Loughner does) for these murders. Not Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, political discourse, blogs, talk radio, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, John Boehner. Before anyone blames Palin because of a map Loughner probably never saw and which Sarah herself probably didn’t create, how about they blame the chat rooms he frequented, the people who created the music he listened to, the creators of the video games he played, as well as Bill Ayers, who helped design Loughner’s school curriculum?

Here’s a link to the story that set me off. Just examine the tone of the writer. Tone. Remember that from writing class? In unbiased writing, we were particularly instructed to avoid adjectives and to be sure we set an impartial TONE. But look at this sentence:

The story talks about how Obama appealed to voters as a uniter. Well, if nothing else, the Rev. Wright speech and everything he’s done as POTUS have proven to the people that Obama is ANYTHING BUT a uniter. He is a kneejerk DIVIDER. HE cannot help himself because he sees this country in stark terms. There are the put-upon, non-white oppressed ones and then there are the oppressors, including the rednecks who cling to their guns and religion and xenophobia. The one thing he got right is that some of us are bitter. He is so correct on that point: I am bitter and getting more bitter by the minute as he and his supporters seek to tear down this country (HIS OWN WORDS) to rebuild it as he sees fit. And as he studiously avoids identifying and condemning the most serious threat: Islamic jihad.

What was billed as a “memorial service” in Arizona last night was more of a pep-rally and celebration of life. It was complete with sloganeering, bumper stickers, and t-shirts. It is what was needed.
What’s more, Mr. Obama gave a stunning rebuke to his own base who’ve engaged in a horrific blame game all week.
” But at a time when our discourse has become so sharply polarized – at a time when we are far too eager to lay the blame for all that ails the world at the feet of those who think differently than we do – it’s important for us to pause for a moment and make sure that we are talking with each other in a way that heals, not a way that wounds.”
Contrast that with what his supporters have been up to all week. It is disgusting. Let us also not forget that the President’s own Democratic advisors were hoping he would seize on this moment as a way to polarize the country against the right and the tea party movement.
While many will say parts of his speech were campaign-ish, let’s not forget that the President has failed miserably at every speech he has given as President. So a campaign style speech was the only way for him to deliver.
And I think he did as a President must do.
But can he himself, the man who implored Democratic voters to “punish our enemies” and only recently referred to Republicans as “hostage takers” live up to his own words? This is, after all, a man who got his political start in the home of a terrorist who’d dedicated a book to Robert F. Kennedy’s killer — a man who never repented but who Mr. Obama then gave grant money to.
Will the President live up to his own standard? Everyone can change. Everyone can repent. Let’s hope this President will. But there is much that still must be done and much the left must still learn.
Yesterday, Governor Sarah Palin delivered a video address on the mess in Arizona. For a week, the left has blamed Palin, not Loughner, for the shooting. Then they attacked her for not responding. Then they attacked her for her response and using the phrase “blood libel,” a perfectly legitimately use of it given what she and the right have been subjected to this week. But the left pounced.
All week long, the left has said Jared Loughner was persuaded to try to kill Congresswoman Giffords because of right-wing hate. We know that was not true. But here is what else I am sure of. Out there somewhere is someone who would love to kill Governor Palin. God forbid they do it. But you and I both know there is some crazy MSNBC watcher and Media Matters reader who even now is dreaming of doing so.
And should they try, we can be equally sure of something else. The left will be divided into two camps: (1) bitch deserved it and (2) not my fault.It is unfortunate. I hope it never happens. But you and I both know the reality in which we live.

I like his take on it with one exception: He gives Barry too much credit. First, who wrote the speech for him? My guess–Peggy Noonan, recently gone over to the dark side (no pun intended). It wasn’t Barry, you can bet on that. Number two, Erickson too easily forgets that it is Barry’s style to maintain that six degrees of separation. He keeps his hands clean while he sends out his minions to do the dirty work. Who really believes that this media frenzy was not orchestrated by someone very close to Barry, a la the Journolist? Perhaps it was done, not only to damage Palin and the others who were falsely “blood libeled” but also to set up the exact moment where Barry can stand up, can RISE ABOVE the fray, and call for unity and understanding. This was all political theater and nothing else. Set up to capitalize politically on a tragedy.
How do I know? For one thing, where was the presidential address and the unity rally/memorial for the victims of these tragedies, all of which occurred during Barry’s administration?
1. April 3, 2009 Fourteen killed, 4 wounded at the American Civic Association, Binghamton, NY; perpetrator by a naturalized immigrant Jiverly Antares Wong (aka Jiverly Voong; motive apparently anger at the police
2. November 5, 2009 Thirteen killed, 30 wounded at Fort Hood Army Base, Fort Hood, TX; alleged perpetrator Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major and psychiatrist; motive apparently Islamic jihad
3. January 7, 2010 Four dead, 5 wounded at the ABB Factory, St. Louis, MO; perpetrated by Timothy Hendron, an employee; motive unknown but it was speculated that he was angry at the company over retirement benefits
So where were the memorials and unity gatherings for these victims? Are their lives worth less? Or was it simply not politically expedient for the POTUS to use those events to boost his own sagging popularity then, as it is now, after his Nov. “shellacking”?

Well, the cult members were out in full force tonight in Arizona. I was ashamed and disgusted by the spectacle that was called a memorial service. President Obama’s speech was fine, as always. He read the teleprompter with eloquence and did a fine chin in the air impersonation of Che Guevara, as usual. His words were appropriate for the most part and he rose above the political fray by making a point of chiding people that were playing the blame game.
My beef is not with Obama this time. It is his mindless minions in the crowd that draws my ire. Apparently the crowd was mainly composed of university students and from what I could gather they had already started tapping kegs for the wake.
This was more like an Arsenio Hall show than a memorial service. Catcalls, standing ovations, whistling and the whoop, whoop, whoop of the crowd dominated the night. What should have been a somber occasion for reflection turned into another Obama pep rally. It was as if these students had their guy up on stage and by God they weren’t about to let a national tragedy get in the way of them having a good time and cheering on their messiah.
If these kids are our future then we are well and truly screwed.

I’ve just watched the “memorial” service for those killed and wounded in Tucson. How are we to explain the lack of decorum and reverence displayed by that audience? Did those students forget that the families of the dead and wounded were in the room? Do they not understand the meaning of the word “murdered”? Is not everyone who watched horrified by the whistling, hooting cheerfulness of that crowd?
The audience turned what was to be a memorial into something between a campaign rally and a rock concert. They should all be ashamed of themselves. The event called for honor and quiet respect, not hooting and hollering for a celebrity. Perhaps it was the free t-shirts that set the tone.
I didn’t watch it but pundits say that Barry did a good job of bringing the tone back to one suitable for a memorial. Is that true? Or is it rememorex?

My guess is that it was a political rally along the lines of the Paul Wellstone (D, Minnesota) and Mel Carnahan (D, Missouri) events, both of whom died in plane crashes during Congressional elections. Both of whom had “memorial services” that more closely resembled political rallies, designed to capitalize on the tragedies and use sympathy to get votes and keep or put the seats in the “D” column. Wellstone’s was more notorious because it was criticized roundly by national media pundits, but Carnahan’s was no less repulsive. It’s a Democrat specialty to capitalize on tragedy.

We aren’t the only ones criticizing that political rally AND the t-shirts. I wondered what was up when they announced a name and a theme for the “memorial”. And with it being held at a stadium. They deliberately filled the seats with college students, as they do in EVERY Obama rally, fill the seats with his supporters, to make sure he’s appropriately applauded and worshipped. This story says that some actually booed Jan Brewer. Can you imagine? And with the families sitting there. I’m sorry, but if it were I, I wouldn’t have allowed them to use me in the first place and once I recognized what was going on, I would have got up and walked out. T-shirts? Black and white ribbons? Has Obama had a christian (little c) awakening in just this last week? Jesus Christ teaches “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you”. But Obama never quotes Jesus, does he? Last night he quoted Job. I can’t seem to find where Job teaches “Punish your enemies”either. Muslims hardly ever quote Jesus, after all he was only a prophet, in their eyes. Even Napalitano read from the OT, while Holder read from the New, quoting Paul. It seems to be a pattern Obama follows, never quoting Jesus. Maybe I’m wrong, but so far he hasn’t proven that to be the case.
Last night Obama held a pep rally, of sorts, in Tuscon, after allowing several days to pass in which all his faithful talking heads were given ample time to wham, bam, thank you mam Sarah Palin and label any and all potential opponents who might run against him next time around as extremely violent unstable characters who would not ever be fit to be the president.
I don’t believe Obama’s heart has been tweaked by what has gone on in Arizona the last several days. I think he has found himself that “Okalahoma Moment” some “folks” seem to think he needed to get his poll numbers back up.

I listened to every word that came out of the Tuscon pep rally last night and what stuck in my mind the most was all the applause, screams, and whistles, each and every time one of the deceased was mentioned by name. I was saddened, angered, and even ashamed by their display of disrespect for the dead. Whatever happened to the symbols of respect we have all our lives shown by bowing our heads in silence as we honored the dead?

Get ready for EVERY Democrat, but especially those up for re-election in Red or Purple states, to start quoting the Bible profusely (McCaskill already does) and especially the Bible as evangelical Christians cite it. They did this after they lost in 2004. They started a big outreach to evangelicals–the “Christian right” who voted so overwhelmingly conservative. They enlisted some evangelical Christian ministers and went on a campaign (stealth and overt), by a playbook, to convince Christians that the progressive agenda is founded in the Bible and in the teachings of Jesus, when in actuality it’s founded in atheism. Then, ignoring the words of Christ about rendering unto Caesar, they tried persuade Christians that voting for Democrats, especially progressive redistributors (a la “liberation theology” aka Marxism) is what Jesus would do. This was a deliberate campaign to peel off as many votes as possible from the Christian right. To some extent, it worked. NOW they must have a do over, especially BECAUSE so many people truly believe, based upon the evidence of their own eyes, upon Obama’s behavior, upon his own words (“my Muslim faith) that he is, INDEED, a Muslim. What was always obvious to some is now becoming obvious to most. He’s a Muslim. There’s no way around it. Another way we can know for sure is this: The more they say one thing, emphatically, the more we can be sure in our hearts that the exact opposite is true. Same with his eligibility. The more they proclaim him eligible, the more I know that he’s not. The opposite is always the truth with these people.
You’re also right that it’s a big tell, if it’s true, that he never quotes Jesus but only quotes the Old Testament. Why? Because Muslims are also “people of the book” but it’s the Old Testament they mean, although they do consider Jesus a prophet.

Some pundit, after the “memorial”, opined that it was quite bizarre to see this guy blessing the doors to the place. I didn’t watch, but it sounds extraordinarily weird to me. One would expect the spiritual leaders to come from the ranks of the religions followed by the deceased, who were, after all, the supposed focus of the ersatz memorial. This is in keeping both with the commie party and Barry’s recent signing of that UN resolution about the “rights of the indigenous.” And with his recent WH meeting with representatives from the “tribes” who want mega-boo-koo bucks from this government as well as return of “their” lands. Pandering to all, with malice towards some.

The text of what Papoose linked above PROVES the connection between the campaign RALLY in Tucson and the Obama election campaign, from which Bill O’Reilly so panderingly tried to distance Barry, saying with no evidence whatsoever that Barry was unaware of how raucous and unmournful the event would be. O’Reilly’s going to interview Barry again, probably to HELP boost Barry’s sagging poll numbers. Why else?
So the entire event was STAGED. It was a CAMPAIGN RALLY AND NOTHING MORE. They even plagiarized the title of the event (who ever heard of NAMING a memorial service?) which they put on the campaign T-shirts. Just another coded political slogan for his upcoming political “tragedy agenda”, having nothing to do with mourning or a tribute to the victims, and worse, clearly, he’s debuting his replacement slogan for “Yes We Can”.
Jonathan Alter recently advised Obama to treat this shooting like any other crisis that can be capitalized on for political gain. “Never let a good crisis go to waste”, reminded Alter. Well, I guess Obama took his advice.
This is just the warm-up. Here’s an update:
This post originally went up in the early evening of January 11. In it, in the headline above, and the commentary below, I revealed that this alleged memorial service was a total sham, a political rally disguised as memorial service.
I debuted what was to be the slogan and logo, as you can see. What’s worse, and what I will be writing about in a forthcoming post, is that Obama’s speech was a declaration of war on America, Conservatives in particular, promising a broad push on gun rights, free speech and even an expansion of government health care.
The rest was obligatory, phony “mourning”. Because the Conservative intelligentsia don’t how to de-code Obama’s speeches (it’s very basic, really), and because they continuously make the fatal mistake of thinking that he’s ever sincere when saying anything conciliatory, they continuously are sucker-punched by this guy, and find themselves on the defense, and catching up.

You can’t make this stuff up. One of the victims of Loughner was arrested and will be evaluated for mental illness because he threatened someone at an ABC event hosted by the “Goddess of War” Christiane Amanpour.

As one member of the audience stood up and expressed his support for gun ownership, Fuller, seated near the front in an area reserved for victims and special guests, appeared increasingly frustrated and agitated. Fuller then swiveled in his chair, raised his camera and took a photo of the pro-gun speaker, muttering, ‘You’re dead,’ according to Joel Tranter, who was sitting behind him. ‘I told him, “You need to be respectful. You need to calm down,”’ Tranter said. ‘He said, “What’d you do, vote for this guy?”’ As police officers approached to escort Fuller outside, he turned and shouted at the audience: ‘You whores!’”
So we can assume that Fuller paid little heed to Barry’s call for civility and since he is all for gun control, I suppose we are left to also assume that he’s NOT a Tea Partier. Like Loughner, he also appears to be misogynistic.
Bridgette posted some other stories about this ANTI-Tea Party HATER, Fuller. Seems he was becoming a darling of the lamestream media, because he was mimicking their blood libel of Palin and other conservatives. That is, UNTIL he got arrested for THREATENING A TEA PARTIER! Initial stories about his arrest conveniently left out his motivation and the political persuasion of the person he attacked with violent rhetoric, despite Barry’s call for civility. Not many mentioned his SEXISM, either. I guess the police, by arresting him, are guilty of “smearing” this “wounded war veteran,” too. Is he also a friend of Sheriff Dupnik? Is that why he’s getting a psych evaluation instead of having the book thrown at him, as would most certainly happen were he a Tea Partier?

Arizona Shooting Victim Arrested After Threat

PHOENIX — One of the Arizona shooting victims was arrested Saturday and then taken for a psychiatric evaluation after authorities said he took a picture of a tea party leader at televised town hall meeting and yelled: “you’re dead.” James Eric Fuller, 63, objected to something Trent Humphries said during the forum taped for a special edition of ABC’s “This Week” with Christiane Amanpour, Pima County sheriff’s spokesman Jason Ogan said. Fuller was in the front row and apparently became upset when Humphries suggested that any conversations about gun control should be delayed until all the dead were buried, KGUN-TV in Tucson reported.
Fuller was arrested on misdemeanor disorderly conduct and threat charges, Ogan said. While Fuller was being escorted out, deputies decided he needed a mental health evaluation and he was taken to a hospital, where he remained Saturday evening. The hospital will determine when he will be released, Ogan said.
Fuller was one of 19 people shot at a Safeway store Jan. 8. Six people died and Rep. Gabrielle Giffords remains in critical condition with a bullet wound to the head. Fuller described the shootings as “a bad crime drama” in an interview on CBS’ “The Early Show.” He said he felt a bullet that hit his knee but didn’t know he had also been struck in the back. Fuller, a naval air veteran, drove himself to Northwest Hospital after being shot, according to the Arizona Daily Star. He was later taken to University Medical Center where he was released two days later.

You might be seeing a lot of Eric Fuller over the weekend. He’s one of the people injured in Jared Loughner’s shooting rampage, taking rounds in the knee and back. He’s also a vicious bigot, and because he’s elderly and a military veteran, the Left is going to fall in love with him.
Fuller gave an interview with the Democracy NOW radio show, in which he said of the Tucson shootings: “It looks like Palin, Beck, Sharron Angle, and the rest got their first target.” Presumably he’s not talking about Judge John Roll.
“Their wish for Second Amendment activism has been fulfilled,” Fuller ranted on, “senseless hatred leading to murder, lunatic fringe anarchism, subscribed to by John Boehner, mainstream rebels with vengeance for all, even 9-year-old girls.”

This whole bull about civility is a set-up for 2012–another campaign of “don’t say anything about “Barack” or you’ll prove you’re a racist, bigot, homophobe, incivil, vitriolic, crazed, “birther”, nutjob.” They equate any criticism of Barry and any of his policies, including calling him a Muslim, a Socialist, a Communist (all of which are arguably true), with being “vitriolic” madmen, potential terrorist loons.
They especially want to use this incident in Tucson, which is totally unrelated to politics, to try to scare people into not EVER AGAIN bringing up the issue of his lack of proof of natural born citizenship. So, that means: No reporting on any eligibility cases, continuing to lean on, ridicule, excoriate, shun, anybody who even ASKS THE SIMPLE QUESTION about WHY he won’t produce a simple piece of paper that every citizen MUST produce, sooner or later.
It’s especially designed, this campaign, to shame the Republican Party into somehow forcing Republicans in the various states into dropping their POTUS eligibility legislation. They do have their work cut out for them to get these proposed laws defeated in every state. I do so hope that the legislators in the various states continue with legislation that will require candidates to prove their eligibility to be on the 2012 ballot.
This is part of why the Republicans won in 2010 and they had BETTER REMEMBER IT.
This post is a gem of smear and disinformation. The author does say that Obama should be an NBC..(that is amazing if they only knew what that means! Hyphenated NBC) Tapping down the nastiness as you can see. Does he miss any democrat’s twisted ideas? Multiple attacks on specific individuals are listed for your information..i.e., Jerome Corsi, bizarro all-purpose conspiracy theorist and smear artist; Andy Martin, a crazy and litigious antisemite; From Lou Dobbs to Liz Cheney to Camile Paglia to Sean Hannity, hacks who don’t give a shit will throw the birthers a bone to retain their ears and eyeballs.
But in a “movement” like this, the real major players are the hundreds of hapless morons who believe the conspiracy

Liz Cheney and Lou Dobbs have recently defended the “birthers,” the dumb group of internet psychos who think it’s impossible that a black man could’ve been democratically elected president. Where did they come from and what do they actually believe?
Barack Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961. Here is is birth certificate. Hawaii was and is an American state. When Barack Obama was elected, he was 47 years old and had lived in the US since 1971. According to the Constitution, the president must be a natural-born citizen 35 years old or order who has lived in the US for 14 years. Barack Obama is eligible to be the president. It’s that simple. Unless you’re in America’s fastest-growing group of nuts with modems, the Birthers! Then it is much more complicated, and stupid.
Who Are They? Where Did They Come From?
It’s hard to say who was the first Birther. It was obvious that a segment of the American people would reject the legitimacy of Barack Obama’s presidency, as they rejected Bill Clinton and as others rejected Bush (though Bush actually legit wasn’t elected fyi). It is just weird that they all decided on such a lame and easily disproved conspiracy theory.

Just check it out. The article says WE’RE dumb. And yet this author says, “here is is [sic: HIS?] birth certificate,” referring to the above image. Yet look at the image. It’s altered! The number is blacked out. AND it clearly says, “ANY ALTERATIONS INVALIDATE THIS CERTIFICATE”. So, according to this brilliant author, Barack’s “birth certificate”, the ONLY ONE HE’S EVER SHOWN, IS INVALID. Does this genius even know who Camille Paglia is? (One of the few open-minded liberals out there.) It sounds as if Alex didn’t get Barry’s civility memo, either. So sad. Doesn’t he know that “Together We Thrive?”

This really hasn’t been a good week for democrats. They committed blood libel against Sarah Palin, accusing her, and Conservatives in general, of mass murder. By Tuesday after the shootings, polling already showed America wasn’t buying it. Even half the democrats weren’t having it! And this was a CBS poll. They are notorious for their left wing bias.
Now comes yet another poll that shows the democrats were really acting stupidly, when they went all in, blaming Sarah and Conservatives for mass murder.
American voters say 52 – 41 percent that “heated political rhetoric drives unstable people to commit violence,” the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University poll finds. Liberals rather than conservatives are more responsible for such rhetoric, voters say 36 – 32 percent.
Now there is some good news for all of America. It seems when you get right down to it, America is rejecting the blame game altogether. Choosing to place the blame where it belongs, with the shooter: “Americans seem to be rejecting the blame game for the Arizona shooting. By far, the largest number thinks this tragedy could not have been prevented,” said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. “Although a bare majority of voters say political rhetoric might drive unstable people to violence, less than one in seven blame it for the Arizona incident.”

Mr. Fuller spoke dismissively of Republicans during the interview. “They appeal to simple-minded rednecks,” he said.
He said that he had had trouble sleeping after he was wounded and that he calmed himself the first night by writing down the Declaration of Independence, which he had memorized three decades earlier.
In the first days after the attack, his anger seemed especially strong. In the interview, he repeatedly denounced the “Tea Party crime syndicate,” and said he placed some of the blame for the shooting on Sarah Palin and other Republican leaders, saying he believed they had contributed to a toxic atmosphere.
He said he had expected to see protesters at Ms. Giffords’s event, and had planned “to shout them down because I can make a lot of noise.”

I am making a list here of what Americans are being called if they ask questions about the dying people, crime and deaths stacking up. I thimk I like rednecks the best. Red ? Funny no ?
But wait. I thought they said we’re the ones who are vitriolic.
That’s good! I was thinking about that, too. Mr. Fuller has cooked MarKos’s rear end, REAL GOOD. Except the lamestream’s not going to report on that connection, either. They would rather let people believe that Fuller’s a conservative Tea Partier, instead of a leftist.
