Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks), Mr. Obama described the call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”

According to Pew Research Center polling, in October 2008, 51% of Americans believed Obama is a Christian, and only 12% believed Obama is a Muslim.
And now, in August 2010, only 34% of Americans believe Obama is a Christian, and 18% believe Obama is a Muslim.

But there are a few things Allahpundit seems to fail to recognize…
First, the “Christianity” practiced by Obama’s “pastor” of 20+ years is, by his own admission, “not the same thing“. See the YouTube video that I’ll also post as the first comment.
What Allahpundit also seems to fail to recognize is the importance, in both Christianity and Islam, on spoken confession, and that Obama has publicly made the Islamic confession of faith, but not the Christian confession!

The Holy Bible also says:

Once again, Obama has publicly confessed the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent. The opening lines of that call to prayer (the Adhan) includes the Shahada, the Islamic profession of faith.
A single honest recitation of the Shahada in Arabic is all that is required for a person to become a Muslim. A conversion to Islam is meant to be a one-way process, both for the individual and their descendants.
Obama has not publicly confessed, “Jesus Christ is Lord.” Saying “Jesus Christ died for my sins” does not confess He is Lord, and does not reveal whether or not you believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead.
That’s just the facts of what Obama has and has not publicly confessed.
So, given that confession, according to the Holy Bible, Obama is not a Christian, but rather “a deceiver and an antichrist.”
While Obama’s time as a member of the Illinois Senate was marked by many instances of voting “present”, it should come as no surprise that in his first year of elected office Barack Hussein Obama was the sole sponsor of SENATE RESOLUTION 90_SR0110, which concluded with the following:
RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS,
that we salute the South Shore Islamic Community Center for their great work in making their community a better place to live;
and be it further RESOLVED,
That we declare November 1, 1997 to be the South Shore Islamic Community Center Day;

I said it before and I’ll say it again…
The confessions of Obama’s own mouth reveal him to be a Muslim, not a Christian.

Article VI of the Constitution includes the following:
This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.
Muslims are eligible to hold office. Representative Keith Ellison is a Muslim. Wikipedia says that Ellison became the first Muslim to be elected to the United States Congress, but WallBuilders says

Openly admitting to being a Muslim would not have had any impact at all on Obama’s eligibility to hold the office of President and Commander in Chief. (There are other issues related to Obama’s eligibility, but this is not one of them). But it would have had a very significant impact on Obama’s electability.
While one does not have to be a Christian to run for office, voters in this country have a long history of following the advice of our first Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court who said:
Providence [God] has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest, of a Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.
Barack Hussein Obama took Shahada and claimed “I am a Christian”. How can he do that? The answer is:
Muslims may conceal their faith when under threat, persecution or compulsion. For Barack Hussein Obama to be electable, he felt compelled to say, “I am a Christian”. Why? Because a mere 7 years after the 9/11/2001 Jihadist attacks, American voters would not have elected an open Muslim to be President and Commander in Chief of our entire military.
And, putting all of that together, recap and consider this…
1) Obama has publicly confessed the Islamic confession of faith, the Shahada, in perfect Arabic. He knows exactly what that means to the Muslim world. He wants the Muslim world to believe he is a Muslim.
2) Obama has not publicly confessed, according to Romans 10:9, “Jesus Christ is Lord, and I believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead.”
3) Considering the facts of what Obama has and has not publicly confessed, and that Obama’s own confessions declare him to be a Muslim, doesn’t the following Obama quote imply that he shares his journey with Jihadists?
But my journey is part of a larger journey – one shared by all who’ve ever sought to apply the values of their faith to our society. It’s a journey that takes us back to our nation’s founding, when none other than a UCC church inspired the Boston Tea Party and helped bring an Empire to its knees.

If any of you needed any more evidence of the Shahada truly being the Muslim confession of faith, and confession of the Shahada in Arabic all that is required to be considered a Muslim by the rest of the Muslim community, read this:
One portion of this I found unusual was the inside look at the conversion process. I spent some time once going to classes with a friend who was converting to Judaism. It’s a very long, detailed, involved process with a great deal to learn. The conversion process for Jeff to become a Muslim seemed to consist of showing up at his future father-in-law’s house and reciting precisely three lines. More to the point, despite his protestations about having done his homework, he seems to be given the speech for the ceremony written phonetically with no clear idea what he’s saying. The bride’s father assures him that, “You’re not denouncing anything. You’re adding more.”
He’s then given the note to read, with sub-titles helpfully added to the scene:
I bear witness,
That there is no God,
But Allah
…and if you have any doubt that Jihadist Muslims use confession of the Shahada as a a shibboleth to determine if you live or die, read this:
any Christian they met who could not recite the Islamic creed was instantly shot and killed or slaughtered like a lamb.

It would be extremely difficult for an Islamic to publicly confess that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is Lord, because the Islamic God, Allah, has no son.
Holy Qur’an 3:58-59—”These signs, and this wise warning do we rehearse to thee. Verily, Jesus, is as Adam in the sight of Allah. He created him of dust, He then said to him, Be—and he was.”

If a person says that they are a Christian, then it is perfectly acceptable to ask them if they believe what the Bible says about Jesus Christ.
If one believes that Jesus is who the Bible says He is, then it makes sense to believe that Joseph was who the Bible says he was, and his father, and his father, all the way back to Adam. The Bible gives the Genealogy of Jesus Christ and links Jesus Christ to “Adam, the son of God”. If one believes the Biblical account of Jesus, then one needs to believe the Biblical account of Adam. If one don’t believe the Biblical account of Adam, then they really don’t believe the Biblical account of Jesus.
God has many sons and daughters…

The latest Pew poll indicates 1 in 5 Americans believe Obama to be a Muslim. The CNN/Opinion Research survey showed that 68 percent oppose the plan to build the mosque, compared to 29 percent who favor it. Obama supports the Muslims, and with his quick decline in the polls due to multiple reasons, the Left’s latest propaganda trick will be showing the Obama’s attending church services every Sunday until election day. Right after the elections, he will again remember the sweetest sound he’s ever heard, the Muslim Call to Prayer. Whereupon he will pull back the Oriental Rug by the Oval Office desk, lift up the loose wooden planks, remove his “rug”, remove his shoes, and bow down in the direction of Mecca. Remember, the ends always justify the means.
Additionally, the rest of the scheme includes reciting more biblical verses in his speeches just to prove his Christian religion. Watch for it, it should make for good farsi err farse.

Obama’s confession to Nicholas Kristoff of the NY Times that he essentially took Shahada and its significance in terms of how that irrevocably turns one into a Muslim in the Islamic world needs to be repeatedly emphasized everywhere.

I’ve known for a long time that “Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent”, but it was not until just the last few days that I learned that “the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer” = the Shahada = the Muslim confession of faith.
By sincerely reciting the Shahada in Arabic, he was declaring to the Muslim world, “I am a Muslim”.
He also declared to the Christian world, “I am a Christian”, but many Christians don’t know the Bible verses I quoted above, and they didn’t know that they are supposed to “test the spirits”, and they didn’t know how to do it.
I’ve been saying for over two years that if Obama wants me, a Bible-believing Christian, to believe that he is a Christian, he needs to say Three. Simple. Words. – “Jesus is Lord”.
He hasn’t done it.
If you call yourself a Christian but can’t confess “Jesus is Lord” before men, then you are a wolf in sheep’s clothing.
Besides, if Obama were to publicly confess “Jesus is Lord” now, after having publicly confessed the Shahada, then the Muslims would consider him guilty of Apostasy. The traditional schools of Islamic jurisprudence are unanimous in holding that apostasy by a male Muslim is punishable by death.
If Obama were to publicly confess “Jesus is Lord” now, he’d be writing his own death sentence…
…and not from “Right-wing-nuts”, but rather from Islamic Jihadists.
Too bad there is no one in the sycophantic WH Press Pool brave enough to ask Obama if he will publicly confess “Jesus is Lord.” I’d like to watch how he will wiggle out of that.

I would suggest that the Rev. Franklin Graham follow the advice of

By publicly saying the Shahada, in Arabic, Barack Hussein Obama was declaring himself a Muslim.
Obama’s claims of “I am a Christian” are Taqiyya.
Obama has not, and will not, confess the Christian confession of faith.

That was a really, really clever thing for the Rev. Graham to say. Calling him out. Telling it like Obama wants everyone to think it is. Making it clear to the Muslims EXACTLY what Obama is saying–that he renounced the prophet. Very good, Rev. Graham. Throwing down the gauntlet.
While I do not endorse this video in its entirety, for example I do not agree with everything it says about the Bible, this video is nevertheless worth watching for 3 things it explains about Islam, which you may or may not know…
Rev Wright, Obama’s spiritual leader of 20 years, earned a Masters Degree in the Islamic religion. I for one am not yet convinced the Wright church, TUCC, is anything other than a front for activities (activists) that are other than christian. Why would Rev Wright spend several years in earning a masters degree in a religion he did not intend to practice and teach? Surely it wasn’t for the purpose of printing and publishing Palestinian Islamic literature only. Which he and his church did.
Obama says he was baptized in Wright’s church. Was he baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? Was it a private ceremony or ritual? I suppose Michelle would know, maybe. Is Obama a christian baptized by a christian Minister?

Which type of tree is representative of Rev Wright? According to his sermons and based on the analogy of the good/bad tree?

God damns no one but He will allow anyone or any nation to damn themselves. Neither Wright nor any other mortal has the authority to judge any man, woman, or nation. Does Wright instruct God?
Obama was/is a disciple of Rev Wright for 20 years, that is obvious as Obama turned his back on the American flag during the campaigns. Obama is a disciple, the fruit, the product of Rev Wright’s teachings and of his former mentors—else Obama would not have continued on for 20 years with that teacher. Obama left that organization called TUCC only after it appeared to be a risk factor for his political ambitions.
“The Genealogy of Jesus Christ”—Note: Luke 3:38 “the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.” Both Cain and Abel are completely ignored in that genealogy. So it is in Genesis 5:1-4 also, Cain and Abel are not named in Adam’s genealogy. The reason is, Abel was killed without ever producing any children, Abel produced no generation(s) that could be included in Adam’s genealogy. Cain is not mentioned in Adam’s genealogy because Cain was not Adam’s son. John 3:12 says ” Cain was of the wicked one and murdered his brother” literally. Cain (and his genealogy) was the son of other than Adam and we have to contend with them today. You know them, by their fruits.
Certainly the Founding Fathers were inspired by the Bible, and the US Constitution is based on Biblical principles. There is more. The Holy Bible was first written in the Ancient Hebrew and the Koin Greek languages. Those two languages are now dead languages. That means whatever the scriptures said thousands of years ago carries the exact same meaning today, the meanings of those words will never change.
The US Constitution that was divinely inspired is based on principles that will never change, I truely believe the Founders of this Nation considered that. I would not describe the Constitution as a living document but rather as an Anchor Document that is eternally rooted in a foundation that can never be moved, and that foundation is the Triune foundation of God. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Some say the Trinity while there are others (that are of the wicked one) who will deny all—you will know them by their fruits.

Good morning.
I considered your opening line of today,
“Obama a narcissist aligned with and influenced by Muslims”
and pondered if you are aware of the connections between Muslims and the Nazi’s in WWII. So let me tell you a little story.
Way back in the early 1990′s, when I was in my 20′s I went to visit my very elderly grandmother whom was born in what is now Slovenia. She was a gentle as a summer breeze despite being nearly completely incompacitaed by arthritis, there wasn’t a mean bone in her body and never had been. While there, Clinton announced he would send US troops to stop the ‘genocide’ in Croatia (just south of Slovenia) on TV. She became very agitated, and said “They don’t know what they are doing, Clinton should just stay out of it. This has been coming since WWII.” As a Jesuit educated christian I was appalled and pointed out that the Serbs were committing genocide. This women, who went to church 5 days a week, looked up at me and said: “You don’t know what the Muslims have done”.
I asked her what she meant, since she had come to the United States in 1937, I was confused as to the anger. Then a women in her mid 80′s told me the story. While she escaped the Nazi horror, many family and friends were killed by them. Her childhood friends were herded into animal buchery plants and murdered and cut up by the SS. They were not jewish, they were not gypsies, and the SS were not GERMAN. The SS were MUSLIMS, that had been trained and turned loosed in Yugoslavia, and went around murdering Christians. My late uncle (great) confirmed the stories when I spoke with him, which is why he particated with partisans and Tito, and was eventually captured and placed in Dachau–which he survived for 6 months until liberated, and walked out 6’4” and 85lbs (since he spoke only italian to them they didn’t execute him on the spot). My family, all that I have met that lived through that terrible time, all have no love of Nazi’s or Muslims.
Millions have died already from the Nazi horror, and yet we cannot grasp that modern militant Muslims were trained, and are ideologically very similar to the Nazi’s. The history channel did a documentary show on these very connections. I have now read in books, confirming my grandmothers second hand account of events, and my late great uncles first hand account. Obama making sure a religion receives justice and Constitutional protections is one thing, befriending Muslim extremists and accepting money from them is another.
While I hope for change, I see a government so broken that the citizen grand jury system is broken, the judicial system is broken, congress is all payoffs with our money, and a POTUS whom is likely ineligible, a media that is centrally controlled and doing propaganda. The whole think looks like a giant ‘fraud’ and things appear to be going the way of 1930′s Germany, the connections to foriegn money and Muslims, just make it look even more dangerous.

By publicly saying the Shahada, in Arabic, Barack Hussein Obama declared himself a Muslim.

New questions arise lately concerning whether President Obama is a Muslim or a Christian, as Mr. Obama gives his partial support to the mosque at Ground Zero.
We’ve all heard by now that Obama became a Christian mostly to expedite his political career and that the Trinity United Church of Christ he joined, presided over by Reverend Jonathan Wright, was not exactly mainstream. We’ve heard about Wright’s damning of America and we know that the church was – and might still be – a hot bed of black nationalism. But what is not as well known is that no baptism is required, nor must Muslims renounce Islam to be accepted as full members in that church
I called the Trinity United Church back in February, 2010 to ask about the requirements of membership. The church receptionist transferred my call to the Director of Membership, who told me that baptism is optional and that Muslims who believe in the prophet Mohammed can be full members. In fact, she reassured me cheerfully, they have plenty of Muslim members.

That would explain why Wright wanted his Masters in the Islamic religion. That also explains why Obama chose that church, it fits in perfectly with his past. He was born a Muslim, lived as a Muslim, and is a lobbyst for them.

I think non-Muslims have a Chinese buffet attitude when it comes to religion. It seems like a lot of people in the United States believe you can just pick and choose what to believe in and practice and that changing religion is like changing clothes, which may explain why the media believes Obama when he says he is a Christian even though he was clearly born a Muslim and acts favorable to some of its practices. They just have no idea of the permanency of one’s religious status once one converts to Islam.

With that interview, Barack Hussein Obama made it known to the Muslim world that:
1) He lived in Jakarta, the capital of the world’s most populous Muslim nation (Indonesia).
2) He comes from a line of Muslims.
3) He took Koran study classes.
4) He is aware of, and sensitive to, Muslim nationalism.
5) He recited the Shahada in Arabic.
Non-Muslims need to understand what #5 means to Muslims.
#5 is really all you need to know to understand that Obama “came out” to the Muslim world as one of them. The other four things are icing on the cake to them.
Later, as President, Obama recited the Koran multiple times. That’s another thing that is very significant to Muslims.

Obama has told Christians, “I am a Christian” and Obama has, by reciting the Shahada in Arabic, told Muslims that he is a Muslim.
A person cannot be both Christian and Muslim at the same time.
And given that Islam condones lying (Taqiyya), while Christianity does not (see Bible references below), it is clear that he can be a Muslim but he cannot be a Christian.
A Muslim could make both confessions (saying both “I am a Christian” and reciting the Shahada in Arabic).
A Christian could not.
The Bible does not condone lying.
No one comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ.
No one can confess the Shahada in Arabic without denying Jesus Christ.
No one can confess the Shahada in Arabic and simultaneously be a true Christian.
Red Pilll: This is one of your most brilliant insights. It explains why he seemingly went out of his way to proclaim the Shahada, IN ARABIC, and to make that statement that it’s the most beautiful sound in the world, while at the same time he and his minions were forcefully declaring that he’s NOT a Muslim.
There it was for all Muslims with ears to hear. I dare say most non-Muslims had no clue what subliminal message he was sending (actually not very subliminal, for Muslims).
You are also SO correct about the difference between how lying is perceived by the two faiths: To Christians, it’s sinful because it disrespects the other person’s individuality, interfering with his exercise of free will. I had known for two years that “Mr. Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting them with a first-rate accent”, and I had long suspected that this made him a Muslim, based on the words he spoke.
But it wasn’t until just recently that I learned that this is, in fact, precisely what Muslims look for as evidence of conversion to Islam.
And I have the “Ground Zero Mosque” Imam to thank for making me aware of that.
While researching Imam Feisel Abdul Rauf and the Cordoba Initiative (the group behind the “Ground Zero Mosque”), I found this page:

Second, I did a Bing search on Islamicity, and found my way to Islamicity.com. That is where I saw the scrolling messages about various people who “took Shahada”. I had never heard of “Shahada” before, so I looked it up. What I found is that the Shahada is the Muslim declaration of belief, and that

I put it all together and realized that
Obama recited the Shahada in Arabic.
I.E.,
Barack Hussein Obama “took Shahada”!
He was declaring to the Muslim world that he is a Muslim, while simultaneously telling the Christian world, “I am a Christian”.
Textbook Taqiyya.
It’s so clear, once you explain it. It’s similar to the Christain belief that all one need do is declare that “Jesus is Lord” and accept him into your soul as your Lord and Savior in order to be saved.
It also reminds me of how a Muslim can divorce a spouse simply by saying, “I divorce you.”

Islamicity. Huh? Gotta remember that word. This mosque cannot be built. People are calling for a huge rally at Ground Zero on 9/11 to protest. It’s not easy to politicize 9/11, but in this case, we must. A huge turnout will make the powers that be think twice. If they build that mosque, it will be seen as a second victory. If it’s moved, it should NOT be seen as a defeat if its TRUE purpose is what the Imam says–to promote interfaith understanding.

I’ve never heard anyone other than the “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright come even close to suggesting that someone’s name could keep them from being a Christian.
Would the “Reverend” Jeremiah Wright be willing to publicly confess, “Jesus is Lord”?
